Places like this prove that quality food at sensible prices is not impossible. Try ordering something like that in one of Ramsay's restaurants, and you'll be lucky to see change from a hundred quid. That was enough for four people. I'm going to knock off a point for being next to a busy main road, but otherwise I can't really fault it for what it is. 9/10

And even more ridiculous were the prices for what you got. This was value for money on an epic scale! And again, this is a local independent place producing high quality, value for money food. Amazing! As I said before (I think) that privately owned businesses are the ones to support. The size of everything you ordered was astonishing. It made me laugh. What an experience! An amazing place…Based on my one and only time visiting!!! This is not a reflection on their ethos, products or business…just…I don’t get that far into the West Country, that often!!! It was a LUSH place, though, crazy busy (to the point where we thought we’d bail…but…glad we didn’t!!!) The whole Crew were just so damn good!!! When the food came out, which wasn’t long, it was proper, belly filling, no messing goodness!!! The other Patrons were Great, too…It had a real laid back vibe about the place. Can’t wait to go back👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 Oh! And for Pasties that will make your Heart Sing, then there’s only one place to go; Philps in Hayle (they do have other places but this is the Mothership). Wow! Wow! Wow! Being a burger freak that looked way up my street!!! Brilliant price too, especially as it would have been two meals for me considering the size. Southern fried chicken bap also looked amazing as did the pasty. Such a difference in price and quality to Rick Stein’s - say no more! Not a hotdog fan but would definitely ‘give it a go’ as it was a sausage rather than a hot dog. Seems like outstanding value and let’s hope they continue to flourish. We need more properly priced and decent quality restaurants like this in England. Well done ‘Nice Baps’ and well done, Gary - lovely review. As per usual. Keep up with the good work!
