Living in my car was something I thought about doing for years, however I allowed fear to stop me. The ego mind would say things like your going to be judged and talked about. This is why I was depressed because I would listen to this voice and let it control my life. Reading, meditation and mindfulness helped me listen to my thoughts from a 3rd person and actually quiet the inner dialogue. So now I do what I want not what the ego wants and I’m living my best life in my car. I can go anywhere I please and this freedom brings me joy. I’m learning a lot about myself in solitude. This has been something special for me. I’m so grateful I’ve been given this opportunity. Thanks for being here with me!

I moved from Fort Worth Texas to Phoenix Arizona to start a self love journey... Things were going ok at first but I'm back into the vicious cycle of working to just pay rent and not able to enjoy this short life that we only have 1 of... now I'm to the point that I'm thinking about living in my car for a few months thru the fall and winter here just to catch up and have a chance to get ahead... I'm getting emotional writing this because I'm a very hard worker, but between groceries, utilities, RENT, gas, and basic, Essentials, it's like there's no light @ the end of the tunnel‼️ I look up to you for taking your life by the balls and doing what works for you❤

I am doing this soon. I will be transferring colleges, so I will be moving out from my parents house and rent is crazy expensive. I have enough saved up to live 2 yrs on the road without worrying about finances. I will leave my car to my dad since it's easy to drive, and will take the suburban. I was planning on buying a van, but the truck is about the same size, and its just been sitting in the driveway for years, so I figured I would just put it to use. I am currently finishing the floor, I should be done converting it in the next two weeks.

@@FoodTrucksForDummies My life plan kind of changed in these last 4 months. I was planning on transferring colleges, but I kind of think it isn't worth going into debt for. I graduate with an associates in business this may, so I'm kind of just living day by day waiting for that day to come since I'm not taking classes rn. I did take my first trip 2 months ago for about 6 days, which helped me decide what I needed to change in my layout. My dad also has a heart surgery coming up on the 3rd of March, so I am just sticking around and driving my parents where they need to go. Depending on how my dad's doing after, I may be able to leave, or I might have to stick around for longer and get a job to pay the bills since my dad was the one who worked and took care of everything, but he won't be able to do that for awhile. I wouldn't mind either option, but my family drives me crazy sometimes. I might just become a trucker and travel around delivering loads, but I need to wait till I'm 21 in order to do that. That's a long 6 months away, so for now my life is on a break, only time will tell what happens.
@FoodTrucksForDummies2 жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear about your dads heart surgery. That’s good your going with the flow still friend. That’s important and being appropriate either will get your fair. Title should be "Living OUT of my car" not in. The whole point to this way of living is to let the world outside be your living room. See beautiful places and enjoying the outdoors. Go different places. A stationary home causes laziness sitting around being in one location all the time. Not having a lot of room in a vehicle forces you to get out, move and explore. I actually think a car is better than an RV. Because even in an RV with all it's luxury you will do the same thing like a house plus so much more expensive in gas, up keep, things to go wrong, harder to find places to park etc. A vehicle to get around and sleep in period. Let nature and other places be your playground. When bad weather go to libraries, community centers, gym, malls, coffee shops. Keep moving, live simply. Less is more!!!

Hi Joanna! I park anywhere that feels safe. It could be Walmart lot, apartment complex, truck stops, 24 hour gyms etc. I hope this helps. Thanks for your comment have a great day.

Where do you park at night to sleep?
@FoodTrucksForDummies2 жыл бұрын
I sleep anywhere that feels safe. Sometimes even residential neighborhoods. I don’t like Walmart that’s much but have slept there and trucks stops but they are busy all night usually so it can be loud.

Thanks for sharing your lifestyle with us, it's very inspirational. I'll be joining the car camping club next month although I have a bit more room with my SUV. Good luck with your spiritual journey. It seems like you've already made a number of wise choices. As Polonius says in "Hamlet" - “This above all: to thine own self be true And it must follow, as the night the day Thou canst not then be false to any man/Farewell, my blessing season this in thee!”
@FoodTrucksForDummies3 жыл бұрын
Yesss Hamlet was keeping it real. And so are we taking the leap of faith the change our financial circumstances. I had a small Kia Soul before I got my Prius. I think the space in an suv is great. I just really wanted to live in a Prius lol. Hey let me know how you adjust. It’s always fun the first few weeks learning to stay organized and get into a flow.

Hi new friend and thanks for the positive feedback. It’s good to know there’s value in my content. Our skin is the largest organ and yes what we eat helps. I also only drink water and make my own face soap, moisturizer etc. Just start with water and eating more fruit + veggies it will start to glow I promise you. My skin was trash when I was eating bad. I’m behind on editing I’ll be uploading tomorrow morning 💚

How do you manage to actually drink a whole gallon of water everyday? Until recently ( brother staying with me now and he likes cranberry nuice), I only drink water. However, I cannot remember drinking close to not even a half a gallon of water a day. Anywho, catching up on your videos. See you in the next comment section lol.
@FoodTrucksForDummies2 жыл бұрын
So I stopped drinking a gallon a day. I was going to pee to much and I was over flushing my system. So now I’m about a half a gallon and that enough. I just try to listen to body to see what it needs. Cranberry juice isn’t bad if it’s all natural. Cranberries contains lots of water.

I appreciate your viewpoint. I grew up baptist family. I’m no longer religious. I know that may sound scary to you. But I’m Happy and that’s all that matters if you ask me. I was tired of being a miserable unhappy Christian lol. It wasn’t for me. My family still loves the church. I prefer a spiritual temple now. Thanks for sending your help.
