Old soul, this guy. He seems mature beyond his years. Not in a uptight or bossy or boring sort of way, I mean mature like someone’s great-grandmother. @radagast25a Жыл бұрын
Has Dylan ever mentioned his parents? I'm only curious because the things I've seen in my life has made me very cautious to assume that every young gay man had the support of his parents in... just about anything, so I never mention family unless they do. Over the years I've seen dozens of homeless gay youth, cast off youth, youth declared dead by their parents because of ludicrous religious rules, etc. I've ever seen pictures out of another Abrahamic faith (Islam) of gay boys being hung for being gay... By no stretch am I suggesting you did anything wrong, I'm just wondering. I'm very happy for him if his family did support him all the way, but I don't assume it. Kind thoughts to you.
@Mister_Listener Жыл бұрын
@@radagast25athat is a good point. In the US, it is safe to assume most gay people’s parents are hateful and bigoted…esp in Florida and Texas, but mostly everywhere. A lot of Americans HATE gay people, including their own relatives.

Your rock solid tempo alone is impressive. I've known a lot of talented musicians and most of them had a hard time keeping time so naturally without a reference, and here you are playing goddam games with the rhythm and keeping the bpm dead on target. As someone who took a break from music and lost a depressing amount of muscle memory, don't let your career keep you away from regular practice. And think about working this kind of talent into your current career! Maybe duet your own recipes? Or leverage your platform and just pick ones that inspire you to play! Just make sure you post it here too, some of us aren't about making new accounts :)

I'd love to see a full-length compilation of Christmas with Dylan! Christmas music and lovely vintage cookies!

This is such an underrated part of music, but I just love the character and passion in your face while you play! It’s so clear how much you love to play 🥰

People who really "get" the music they're playing you can see it in their face and movements; it's an emotional experience.

wow.🎹🎶nice jazzy bits in there to make it your own. since we are bound to hear the same songs every Christmas, its very wonder to hear them styled differently than ever before. Your timing at the beginning brought out nuances beautifully, eloquently. Thanks
