I’ve been playing this game on and off since there was only the first two characters, and I’m 99% sure that was after I either saw you make a video on it or stream it. Definitely one of my top ten games of all time. New character is super fun btw.

Playing ROR2 tends to instill a respect for mobility that helps you dodge getting shot, as opposed to attempting to tank the elder lemurian that deals twice your health in damage... :P

every weapon is the best weapon when you're playing the right character/you have good inscriptions (snipers for example are garbage on dog or bunny but s tier on tiger when you literally two shot every boss)

"Tiger" He's a leopard lmao. I must disagree with you, though. I don't think there are any heroes that benefit 3-shot burst weapons like the Cavalry. That gun is bad on everyone. Only argument is _maybe_ for Leopard since Cavalry auto-crits the third shot, but it has a low critx so you're better off just using a real sniper as long as you can actually aim. _Most_ guns have a character they're at least decent with, though, you're right.

@@PeachDragon_ I agree, but I don't know if there's a way to do that without explicitly mentioning assault rifles. My immediate thought is maybe things that buff repeatedly hitting shots since rifles are more accurate than SMGs, but that still makes Injectors the best choice to use. Assault rifles are already pretty decent on dog imo since he doesn't explicitly benefit shooting as fast as possible, but I personally like injectors more. 3-shot burst weapons and other non-sniper precision weapons are really the only things without hero support atm. Since turtle didn't support them I doubt we'll ever get something that does tbh.

Another video on Gunfire Reborn, you said that you couldn't pronounce the cat's name. In his little history paragraph (character selection), it reads that he's called the Crown Prince. I've chosen to abbreviate to Prince. Also, the Pupil seems to work a lot like Captain's shotgun. At least, that's what I think lol

Yeah, skill damage is mostly useless at reincarnation difficulty. The scalpel is incredible on the bunny, and against the flow is actually S tier for her. A mag size Gemini on a glove or big hippo might've been better with that setup, but CRIT chance is great too. If you like the pupil, get comfy with the illusion, it's like a full auto pupil without lightning. Love the gunfire reborn content! Keep it coming. 🤠

On reincarnation 8 Skill is useless on dog, not very useful on bird, and (maybe new shark dude), unsure on bunny. However on thunder tiger skill damage is maybe B tier and with original cat(prince) its A or S tier due to corrosive grenades. and their integrations with other elements. A skill damage cat grenade build can have your grenades deal 60%+ of all damage dealt on reincarnation 8. (haven't done enough testing with bunny to know if a grenade dps build is possible but it doesnt feel like it.)

@@shawnbarton3670 Agreed. The cat's skills still hold up as utility and elemental damage, since that scales so much better than skill damage in general. The bunny is saved by the ice blade spiritual blessing, otherwise it's pretty anemic too. The tiger definitely holds up, I think because some of the thunder strike damage scales off weapon damage. Not positive though. Bird's skills help him stay alive but do hardly any damage. Bladed cleave helps, and farming easy kill early can still work. I've seen the turtle keep up pretty well with a punching/hurtle build, but haven't tried it myself.

@@skeetazaurus Thunder tiger skill is interesting because one of the chalices increases damage based off weapon damage and the other off of the thunder strike itself. 150% weapon damage on the one and 200% lighting damage on the other. These multiply together instead of adding because they are different damage types. 1 gun 1 skill. Then skill damage scrolls come into effect after that. i havnt done too much math but i know you can hit 1 - 10 million damage hits with him per lighting strike its nice because his special does double dip with weapon and skill boosts.i have not tried a turtle build yet but i do see 600k highest shot when usuing attack speed weapons and going defence so there maybe something there i havnt found yet

with the right ammo support the scalpel is pretty great. the pupil is easily one of the most powerful weapons full stop... the ice spear is a vicious weapon if you can get the right modifiers on it... it can 3 shot the final boss... 4 if you count his vengeance attack

Its interesting how many of the dash and movement speed scrolls are normal rarity. I find myself debating between them and epics/legendries and often taking the normal scroll. IMO the mobility scrolls are under classified which I guess is nice because they are easier to find at normal difficulty. Its getting over that mental hurdle of turning down higher tier scrolls for em.

weird question if you get the combo for 1 hp and 0 shield + spirit feline would you be literally invincible because technically all attacks do more than 14% of your hp? basically old ror2 shaped glass but without the dmg?

no, you'd just die instantly. Feline reduces all dmg taken to a max of 14%HP with a minimum of 1 dmg
