An Olympic gold medalist and explorer, Adam spends his spare time doing things like rowing to the Bermuda Triangle from West Africa across the open ocean. When Adam's vessel capsized within a few days of reaching Miami Beach, the story made global headlines. Passionate about sustainability, Adam and his team have been gathering data from the ocean environment and marine life, while also working to study and understand human physiology under stress.

I've watched a lot of these videos over the past year. All of them have been good, most of them have been amazingly inspirational, but this guy (at least so far) has definitely taken it to the next level for me. Absolutely engaging, great topic of discussion & so very real. I have to share this with my friends & I'm totally keeping this talk as one of my favourites. idk i like him but seems like it's a bit simpler to allow failure for something physical ain't it? Not as personal is it? Something like unrequited love? Family rejection? Not so much. Those insecurities run real deep. Had this been as honest and crazy a story about being dumped i think I would've responded more to it.

Rich L Is some kind of exposure therapy. Seeking failure is one of my principles, and I seek failure like rejection and I risk to be laughed at too. The more I do it the less sad I feel when I'm rejected or when people have negative opinions about me.
