Do you need to have the 50 animals at one time, or 50 born? Love the jungle for the dandelion tree, healing cream, food, and tea. Look forward to more!!

Yay! Alien Dawn is back! Looking forward to this series mate! A good start so far. I think this is the first time you dodged a lightning strike in a few series 😂😂

Really excited for this series. The 50 animals is a fun achievement. I found the hardest part was naming them all lol.

When I used Simon in my last game every single person hated him, but he was a good researcher. lol

Yea, he seems to fall out with people a lot! Might stuff him crafting on his own somewhere 😂

Finally i have a break and some time to watch your videos. I know my comment is way too late and probably outdated but i know i will forget my thoughts so... it is what is it. The taming 50 animals achievement really is a pain in the a** xD I had a similar idea and very curious how you are holding up. And the healing balm, the healing balm... its just glitter caps xD i am pretty sure you do this on purpose 🤣

Welcome back. Healing balm is something I forget because I don't really use it unless I ha e to

I don't usually do this, but in the genre of colony management, I often see no reason for the existence of the games. It sounds elitist, but I just feel that this is a genre where it is very hard to find anything that justifies making it a game when Rimworld exists. I'm only 14 minutes in in this first video of this game, still looking :-) [edit] I don't really get it. This doesn't seem to have anything that can't be in Rimworld.
@TheOnlyL0nzY Жыл бұрын
That's fine, go and watch more Rimworld. Rimworld doesn't have multi-tier building, and isn't 3D. That's the difference. Both great games IMO
@beageler Жыл бұрын
@@TheOnlyL0nzY Ahh, the multi-tier buildings weren't in this video. And the 3d is a point, it's just a negligible one for me :-) Gonna watch more of other games, the post was made mostly out of surprise that I feel like a game has practically done a genre. Cya.

@@beageler look at if from another angle. When I get bored of 1 particular style, another colony sim is different slightly in mechanics, and graphically, so it feels different. Kinda how all FPS games are the same, but aren't
@rwulf Жыл бұрын
as someone who enjoys both games - the fact that stranded is so much simpler than Rimworld is precisely why it has its own identity. Rimworld can, at times, simply become overwhelming with the amount of minutiae and micromanagement. Stranded is slimmed down and streamlined. neither one is better; they're just different experiences. Which one you prefer depends upon the player and their mood.
@beageler Жыл бұрын
@@rwulf The complexity is a good point, didn't think about that. Not that Stranded looks very simple. I have to point out that for Rimworld having done the genre, one has to include mods, obviously.
