And Pyro Ganyu, soda light Eula and catgirl Yelan aren't the most original character either gameplay-wise. The lore building is good though and diving is fun but saying Fontaine is better than sumeru... Eeehh. You kinda forget Sumeru added a whole new element to the game and the main story was straight up great from start to finish.

I feel like some people made a rush judgment on Freminet, it seems like Fontaine characters require a little more thought in play style. You can’t just go full unga bunga with them. Maybe people just didn’t know how to play correctly initially and deemed him mid right off the get go. He seems pretty decent to me.

he does some pretty decent damage, it's just the poor state of physical nowadays. a hyperbloom team can do much more damage than a hypercarry freminet, but fortunately he slots in fine in hyperbloom teams anyways.

It's very fun to just explore the wacky and goofy teams and make your favourite characters work no matter how "mid" they're deemed. 4:01 Whoever said don't use his burst if you build physical is wrong btw. His burst reduces cooldown of your skill + you gain 2 stacks instead of 1, which means you reach the higher physical multiplier moves faster since physical damage increases the higher his pressure stacks, and you can use the skill way more often with burst. It's actually not as good for cryo bc you gain 2 stacks instead of 1, and cryo has highest multiplier at lower stacks, but even then using your burst is way better than not using it at all, also for cryo you can just spam e and never normal attack for highest cryo dmg anyway

For Paikon(and anyone else wondering) asking about Freminet's lack of diving equipment, people with visions(Idk if any vision or only Fontaine visions) can breathe underwater in Fontaine's seas, which is why there's no timer to stay underwater and you have a different stamina for swimming. There are certain benefits to using Fontain specific characters underwater though. Also I agree Freminet should be able to have his helmet on while underwater.

Physical Freminet is easy to play, just super conduct it with an electro character. Q then repeat E - normal -normal - normal 3 times and ends with E + 5 normal Fun thing is how he can break combo and keep the stacks So yes, basically a little different but basically the same as Eula.

if I am not mistaken, the reason why Freminet doesn't wear his helmet whenever he swims at Fontaine as a playable character is likely because only the NPC of him does that (during the Thelxie Fantastic Adventures quest). Freminet as a playable character only wears his helmet when his burst is activated for players who have him

It kinda makes sense that a character that uses physical would do good with 4 of them. Physical is probably second to only geo in terms of not being reliant on reactions. The opposite is true for Dendro, which is very reliant on reactions as can be seen from 4 Nahidas taking way longer.
