I loved your long hair, BUT you look awesome with the buzz cut. Very handsome on you. And I know from experience how liberating buzz off your long hair is. I used to have long hair like yours was and I loved it. But I got the urge to buzz it. After the initial shock, I LOVE it. I've never grown it back. Being freed from hair was amazing, and the buzz (I have a #1) represents simplicity in my life which I love. So, congratulations on joining the club of simple lives!

Many moons ago I had hair down to the small of my back, and a beard to match. Then I started to go thin on top... I left it way later than you, and afterwards was convinced that I looked like a drug dealer for a while, but I got used to it, and though I wish I could still grow it long, I'm happy enough! I hope you (and your family) are happy with it - looks good to me!👍

You look fine with this style. One caveat, keep a ball cap/hat around and wear it if you are outside for while. Your scalp will burn rather quickly until you get some sun built up. Also it might be more subjective to skin cancer (plenty of experience here). But I gotta say that with the short style, no need to visit a salon.

I think you need to do any and everything that makes you comfortable and happy! Your hair looks great either way too. 😊 I shaved all of my hair off 2 years ago, and it was one of the most liberating feelings ever lolol. I won't ever do it again, but my hair is better than ever. As humans, I think we are mostly all very attached to our hair. But it is just hair and it will grow back if you want it to.😊 I hope you have a wonderful weekend! 💜
