Travis McMichael took the stand to testify in the death of Ahmaud Arbery murder trial on Nov. 17, 2021. He said he shot him because "he had my gun." He also said he does not remember every hand or movement during that time. He referred to some of it as a "blur."
Ahmaud Arbery was shot and killed on Feb. 23, 2020. Three men face murder charges in a trial in southeast Georgia. The trial is on Day 9 as of Nov.17.
Ahmaud Arbery was shot and killed on Feb. 23, 2020. Cellphone video leaked to the public shows two armed white men in a truck approaching the 25-year-old Black man as he runs down the road. One of the men, later identified as Travis McMichael, and Arbery struggle over McMichael's shotgun before Arbery is shot and collapses.
Travis McMichael, his father Gregory McMichael and William "Roddy" Bryan, who recorded the video, are all charged with murder in Arbery's death.

Here is my question to gun owners; Why is it okay for a gun owner to believe that if someone takes away their gun that they will be killed by it, and yet, a person with a gun pointed at them should not believe that they would be killed by a gun owner and have no right to fight for their life?

He was to obey, and take whatever a white man give him, the same as good slaves. If he is so brave, and sure of himself, he should repeat the gold teeth, cigarettes, and N word, in front of his new neighbors, and inmates all colors, will pop that head, make him run, and pin him like a rat. His buddy Bryan can holler down the hall, "y'all got 'em?" He made the choice to chase Ahmaud, instead of walking, or jogging with him for a unthreatend conversation. Now he will worry if HIS son, will be targeted because of his crap. He should have told his heart attack, stroked, hip replaced Father, to leave it for the cops. I have to wonder though, if the cops are kittens, like the ones responding after the homicide of Ahmaud.

It’s against the law to trap a person like a rat or willfully apprehend anyone against their wishes…. Especially when you haven’t seen them commit a crime. 4. It’s ok to run really fast when you jog. Exactly! This is what both this case and the Rittenhouse case have in common. The killers tried to take the law into their own hands rather than letting qualified professionals deal with it. They play "Rambo" on the street and then when they've murdered people they cry "self-defense". That defense just doesn't hold water when they've injected themselves into a situation they have no business nor authority in. It seems as though these guns are giving ordinary people the false sense of security that they think they are cops now.

Write this down and tell your people: when someone points a gun at you whether it's police or a regular citizen, just stop.
