I really enjoy your energy. I’m in vet school, but used to be in the airline industry so I really enjoy your vlogs. Love how well you care for your fur babies and apparently now, the homeless. We have such a flawed system here in the US. Enjoy your days off

Have you thought about volunteering with Habitat for Humanity ? You could find out where they're building on days you aren't working. I'm sure you could paint or contribute some other skill.

I've volunteered with them three times. I hate to say it, but that kind of labor wasn't for me. The last time was hanging plywood on a barely framed out house...that was not for me.

There always seems to be a lot of bureaucratic RULES when it comes to charity. They’re always going to say there’s a good reason why we do this, but your frustration is understandable. And that was very kind of you. It doesn’t take all that much to be a decent human being. Hopefully your video will get us all thinking when was the last time we did something unselfishly.

What a night you had after a relaxing day at home!! I don't guve $ to people who approach me asking for a handout or assistance as experience has taught me what they do with the money. Instead, if there is a grocery store or fast food place nearby, I will offer to buy them food. If they decline, they weren't that hungry or had other priorities that I won't contribute to. If they have a furbaby with them, I will buy extra so the furbaby can eat too. I can say this re Goodwill after your experience...GOODWILL, not!!

I think it would have been different if he had asked for anything. He didn't ask...but, I could see he really could have used a meal. It was easier just to hand him what I happened to have in my pocket, rather than bring him someplace.

I haven't been there in a long time. The things I tend to like are often priced at a retail level that I wouldn't spend. Instead, I'll be patient knowing that I'll find what I like while thrifting. Though, it is just fun to walk around the place.
