I decorate for Fall in mid September that stays up until the weekend after Thanksgiving. I do a traditional Christmas decor. I don’t have the storage space to change Christmas decor from year to year. My children are all grown so I don’t do Halloween. I enjoy watching you decorate though I understand having to replace couches. When my five children were young I had to replace my couches about every five years

I decorate for Christmas the weekend before or the weekend of Thanksgiving. I decorate for Fall mid-September and leave it until I decorate for Christmas. I don't decorate at all for Halloween as it has never been a favorite of mine. I use pumpkins in my fall decor but no jack-o-lanterns. I love seeing all your holiday decor and it's so nice especially with kiddos. Our daughter is grown and we have no grandchildren so minimal decorating for us. Take care Lauren. Love your videos!!

Thanksgiving is my most favorite holiday so I never like to skip it and go straight to Christmas. So usually on Thanksgiving or that weekend is when I put up my Christmas tree and start decorating.

I agree! SO many wonderful food memories and memories of family gatherings with those long gone but not forgotten! I do decorate for Christmas about a week before Thanksgiving - but leave the dining room fully decorated for Thanksgiving - I have so many cute pilgrim and turkey figures!!. We also make sure everyone gets to listen to Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims the day before while everyone is pitching in with food prep!

In Canada we have Remembrance Day on November 11 and it's a faux pas to decorate before then. Our family decorates on the last weekend of November which coincides with the Santa Claus parade which we love to go in the evening after decorating.

Hey Lauren, from central Nebraska. Thinking of doing more of a green colored Christmas. We will see since we live on SS pretty much plus my part time earnings. I like to decorate day after Christmas. When we had a house full of kids (5) we would put Christmas music on, do chicken wings and hot cocoa usually. Now hubs and I live in a 900 of home which I like so can't do much besides trying to do a more curated holiday decor. ❤

Hey Lauren, what a beautiful new couch. But honestly I don’t know how you manage keeping things clean with four active kiddos! As for decorating, I start fall decorating at the first of September and then Christmas decor the first of November. I can’t wait to get started. I had invited all my friends over for a Christmas lunch last year. I went overboard with beautiful decorating and cooking and baking all the food. Then I got really sick from a medication I was taking. Had to go to the ER. Had to cancel the very day of the party. So we’ll try again this year. Hello to kitty Henry and puppy Pepe💜💜💜

I usually don’t decorate for Christmas until either Thanksgiving week or after that week. Buttttt this year we had a hurricane here in FL (thankfully not directly in our area). I now don’t wanna decorate the outdoor area for 1/2 the month so I’m already in the Christmas mood. I will be starting the first week of November. I’ll be going all out! It’s our babies 2nd Christmas & last year he was only 2 months old so this one is going to be so fun to watch him run around & see all the lights. I like to keep it traditional & classic (but fun & magical) when it comes to the decor. I include the pretty decor I like mixed with things I know will be my kids favorites to look at & remind them of Christmas through the years. Nothing trendy as I find myself wasting it in the next year or two when it’s out of style. Can’t wait! Happy decorating! ⛄️ 🎄

I decorate about for Christmas about a week after Halloween, but I do it in stages.. First week is putting up the Christmas tree and lighting on it. Also putting the train at the bottom and on the tree. The second week is adding the ornaments and garland on the tree. Also, add a little Christmas tree upstairs. The night before Thanksgiving, I decorate outside with wreaths and garland and add garland to the stairs inside as well. Doing it all in one day would take over 8 hours.

Because we get a real tree and tree farms here don't open until the weekend after Thanksgiving, we go then to get our tree. I usually start decorating that weekend too. So it Halloween until Nov 1st, then the fall comes back out until after Thanksgiving. I like traditional as well with a focus on nutcrackers ❤

I love fall & all the decor, however I also do extensive decorating and the time goes so fast. I started getting all the white lights in all the windows because it's very time consuming and decided to just go for it. I got my bedroom and bathrooms decorated for Christmas & started my kitchen today. This allows me the time to be creative & not feel the stress to get done. I hoe to have all the decorations done 11/1 & shopping done by 11/15 so I can enjoy Thanksgiving & focus on baking friends & family all of December. Love the couch!

Congrats on your new partnership with this mystery product, Lauren 🥰👏 We just decorated our front yard/porch/steps. We don’t stick with a theme, and recycle our decor year after year lol. We stick with cheesy classic Halloween. Something not too scary for the neighbourhood kids. My advice would be to relieve yourself of the pressure. I hung lights that were crooked but didn’t care as I know kids don’t judge- and they’re the reason behind our efforts. We decorate for Christmas after Remembrance Day, but if something feels right I don’t see why you can’t celebrate your joy of Christmas, while also honouring the fallen soldiers. Life is short, if you’re respectful/mindful of both…. you do you! 🤗 Praying for your family & friends in the East.
