Might wanna know that this vid went from kinda silly to tear inducing in a matter of seconds during your turning point for me. I'm a frustrated musician, moved out of my country for a while, came back but haven't been able to grab my guitar and bass again and do the one thing I love the most. Thanks for the soundscapes, thanks for the tears and thanks for reminding us that nothing is silly if it makes you pour your heart into it.

That was beautiful. I love your work. I've become a huge fan of everything ambient in the last several years because I love the way it sounds and it brings peace to my soul. I to am a musician and I should have stopped playing after November 27, 2020 after taking a bullet through my neck hand and loosing a 1/3 of my hand but God said I wasn't done with you. No self loathing, pick up that axe and start playing again. I can't form a C chord now to save my mothers life but my style has evolved into something comparable to yours. Thanks for the inspiration.

Beautiful message. Thank you for sharing :) Have you heard of Collision Devices? I just got their Crushturnal last night and had a similar experience (without the sneeze threat). I activated its internal sequencer, set down my pick, and turned on my guitar's Sustainiac. I spent the next hour getting lost in it, manipulating the Sustainiac's controls and the FLoyd's whammy bar. It became this sublime experience, I never knew my guitar vibrated from the Sustainiac; I'd never been so in tune with the guitar before.

Beautiful Bill. And good advice, don't stop playing while the magic lasts, and a little bit beyond. Forgive me for saying so, but your face looked to me like Jethro Tull's Aqualung. And realizing that me mind started drifting, expecting to see a long slow drip from your nose. But it never came and a smile appeared on your face. And like the layers of guitar playing echoing, that feeling of anticipation echoed through my mind. An exciting and, musically enchanting video, which you managed to give extra entertainment through the texts you added. Thank you for a musically and otherwise enchanting dream. Truly beautiful.

Such a wonder moment indead, and what a fantastic guitar. So glad Devin gave you the guitar, otherwise I wouldn't have come across your channel. Really want the guitar, my cars died, so have to get another one to destroy, however my son thinks I ought to get the guitar instead, (both in roughly same price bracket, but can't afford both! lol)

I was showing my friend the power of my "ambient" setup (as heard IN my studio) for the first time the other day. He was really enjoying the stereo sound bath and then I got a little carried away. Next thing I knew he jumped up and excused himself right as I developed a sudden strange stomach cramp out of nowhere. Turns out I made him poop, and myself almost also I believe. True story. A unique moment in the history of the Universe for sure. For him and I at least. The power of fingers + ebony + magnetic & electrical currents is so much more impactful on us than we like to believe.

If I may ask, what does that tiny capo do to the guitar tuning? It doesn't seem to be affecting the low E...
@chordsoforionКүн бұрын
It's a split or partial capo and covers strings 3-5. Here's a tutorial i posted recently on the topic. Partial capo discussion is in the middle of the vid: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qqnFf2WOd5uNrrM
