​@@saddesklunch2544 well, this kind of depends. like most idioms, there is no one origin of blood is thicker than water. many cultures throughout history has had a similar expression, sometimes blood meant familial bonds and sometimes not. a 13th century German epic had the line "I also heard it say that kin-blood is not spoiled by water" - water here means a Christian baptism. in some cultures blood refers to blood brothers, sometimes to a nation people. I've a special interest in etymology and how language evolves, sorry for th slight info-dump!

Ngl i miss those days of having either your friends or the local video and game stores or magazines or library to learn about new shows, movies, books, and video games. I remember in my hometown there was a blockbuster but there was also a smaller more "local" video store called Video Empire and me and my family used to rent videos and games from there all the time. It closed down though sadly.
