In the old versions, ghosts were able to kill you through doors if you weren't noclipping through the wall, remember? Psycho used to do whole videos back then on how to 'minimize' the ability to be killed in hiding spots. From the angle of CJ's body at the end, his head would likely have been poking out of the door, and that was how the ghost used to track players.

Mare not being able to turn on a light was implemented way later when DK added a bunch of tells to all the ghosts, around the time nightmare was out. As far as I remember, it's not a bug if the mare turned on the light, that was just never a thing back then that it couldn't

Now that I think of it. I think I sorta liked the old white board garage look of Phasmo. It gave me like some "going out with your friends for an urban explore" cozy like vibes. While the new one is seeming a lil too serious, like the guys night is turning into a job. Though I LOVE how the changing of the lobby is being done in such a way that it almost makes a story as the hunters in game do more n more jobs and get more n more known.

Insym forgot about the bugged closets. You had to squeeze into a specific spot in some closets, or the ghost could kill you through the wall, which is what happened here, the ghost killed him from the stairs I think.
