We Did Tarot Card Roulette and it was Absolute CHAOS - Phasmophobia w/ CJ, Psycho, and Blob

Welcome back to Phasmophobia! In this video we try out TRUE tarot card roulette and it was one of the most chaotic things we've ever done. ENJOY!
The RULES:
- Wheel of fortune (red): Nothing, (Green): random item
- Tower: EMF reader, if already have EMF reader you get a random item if you can find what the ghost threw.
- The Devil: Photo Cam, if you already have photo cam you get 2 random items if you take ghost photo
- Death: 2 items for every death during that hunt
- High Priestess: 2 random items when the person gets revived (but nothing until then)
- Sun: 2 random items
- Moon: 0 random item
- Hermit: 1 random item
- The Fool: if high priestess or hanged man: random item, otherwise nothing.
- Hanged man: unlock all items

Here my suggetions on rules; -Tower: If pulled once get no items, if pulled two times in a row get 1 random items, if pullled more than two times in a row get 2 more random items per pull, if any other card is pulled this streak is lost -Devil: Unlock 1 evidence item( spirit box, thermo, writing book, etc) -Wheel of fortune: -(Green) nothing -(Red)1Random item -Hermit: Player who pulled it must leave the house and cannot enter unless either the ghost starts a hunt or he is the only player remaining -Moon: 1 item of your(player who actually pullled the card) choice -Sun: Lose all the items the player(one who pulled the card) has eqipped. -Death: if no one died then +3 random items, if 1 person died then nothing, if 2 or more died then +2 items per death(including the first person to die) -High prestress: (instantly)No one can leave or enter the house until someone dies, as long as this revive doesn't get used, there is no way to gain more items( pulling cards for items or using cursed possessions are useless) -Hanged man: Undo/Remove all negetive effects (Hermit, High prestress, Sun) unlocks all evidence items (only evidence). -The Fool: Only apply effects after the deck is finished, (0-1) nothing (2-3) +1 item (4 or more)Unlocks all non evidence items.

Watching this while I work on my notes! I love the tarot cards so much. I remember one time I was trying to demonstrate what a cursed hunt is like to a new player using the cards, but every single card the new player pulled were good and it was a disaster. We got TWO HIGH PRIESTESS cards in a single deck, and everything else was just tower, hermit, or fool. So now this new player is convinced that tarot cards are a safe and amazing cursed item and I don't even know how to tell them they just got super lucky lol.

@Insym what if you, CJ, Psycho and Blob go into a big map on nightmare difficulty and find all the cursed objects and try to get a perfect game using all of the cursed objects, all the objectives, a photo of the bone, the ghost and whatever else you can with all of them being 3 star. It's just something i thought of before and thought that you might be the right person for the job, would love to see a video on that.

Heres an idea to dumb it down maybe Sun = Flashlights (bright light) Moon = UV (dim light) Tower = EMF (object detection) Devil = Photo Cam (ghost photo) Hanged man = Defenses (to prevent another death) High Priestess = DOTs + Books (rare benefit) Hermit = Video Cam (ghost room only) Wheel of fortune (red) = Candles (helps sanity) Wheel of fortune (green) = Motion Sensor (green light means pass) The fool = Sound Censor + Para Mic (no use, pure fun) Death = Spirit Box + Salt (can use during hunts) Any duplicate cards = random roll

The Roulette idea is nice, but I think the rules were a little convoluted and the wheel factor made it very dependant on you, making it less dynamic. I would suggest some more practical and direct (And potentially more fun): All items and Cursed Possession are locked. If someone picks an item or possession, they're stuck with it in their inventory until consumed/destroyed, and cannot drop it nor place it. The cards (Some ideas): - Tower: Pick a single Item for yourself. - Devil: Pick a single Item for another player of your choice. - Wheel of Fortune (Green): Pick a single Cursed Possession on the map for yourself. - Wheel of FOrtune (Red): Pick a single Cursed Possession on the map for another player of your choice. - Death: If you kill someone, you can use their Items and Possessions. - Sun: You can get rid of one of your Items. - Moon: You can get rid of some of the other players Items/Possession. - High Priestess: You choose all items for everybody.

Someone needs to come up with an idea where an Imposter is randomly selected and tries to get the others killed (without the others knowledge of course). Maybe it's a point based system where it's beneficial to stay alive and collect evidence, but the imposter's job is to sabatage the mission and kill the others somehow. I'd be interested in hearing some ideas as this could be a really entertaining watch and would make for great content. Thoughts?

Lmao as fun as playing two truths and a lie with a ghost sounds.. Mimic would be an absolute nightmare since it always gives orbs as a fake evidence anyways. 🤔 When you think about it a Mimic on Nightmare difficulty is technically very similar to the experience you described, two real evidence and it's decoy orbs but then you also get it's ability to copy other ghosts on top.

it's not a bad concept, tieing the items to the cards' effects. Tower: unlocks EMF. If another Tower card is pulled, random item (effectively re-rolling the EMF draw) Hermit: unlocks Book. It's a passive item that needs to be in the ghost room to be interacted. Random item if drawn again. Devil: Photo Cam. If drawn again, get random item only if it's a different ghost event. Wheel of Fortune: - Green; Pick an item yourself, no roll needed! - Red; randomly select an item you have to lose, it needs to be rolled again before being able to use it. Sun: Firelights and Igniters. Roll 2 random items if drawn again Moon: Lose the last item you just unlocked. it needs to be rolled again before being able to use it. Death: Crucifix. If drawn again, roll random item. High Priestess: Sanity medication + 1 evidence item of your choice. If, somehow, drawn again, 2 items of your choice. Hanged Man: Nothing if you play solo, lol. Multiplayer, 1 item per dead player, at the time it is drawn. The dead player picks it by throwing an item at it in the truck. (Or discord or other method of communication out of game I guess) Fool (Any): Pick one of your unlocked items. It is locked again, but you get to roll again. The great shuffler! Let me know what you think! 😄

if you get a red card.... you have to stay in the same room until you pull a green card. Even during a hunt, you cannot leave the room. If you pull two consecutive red cards, you have to take the claw and lock yourself in the ghost room.

Phasmophobia: Free For All. Each player races to figure out the ghost. This earns 3 points. If a player is credited to killing someone, that's 1 point. If they kill 2 people. 3 points. If they kill all 3 other people, the only way they can lose that round, in which case, it's draw. If you die, you lose all your points. If you are winning overall, the other players race to pick their items, then after all the other players have picked their 3 items, then the current overall winner can then pick items from 6 unique random items. This might not be the best idea, but it's an idea that can be changed to suit the needs.
