herotube 14667 ikr, that's not just a simple character redesign. It's an entirely new character concept right there. This redesign of Leon completely changes his entire SwSh character. Leon is still a kid in an adult body. He doesn't take things seriously, he likes to laugh with his bro, and he's all genuine smiles and happy. He's not serious 24/7, and it's offputting seeing this design of him and then seeing people online think this is better than the original. It doesn't work.

I don't think I'd prefer your redesign of him. While yes I would definitely change some aspects of his design, like the shorts and leggings combo, I think that yours robs him of his personality a little bit with all the detail everywhere, like the pouches or the handwear. He is just a chill, laid back guy that also happens to kick ass. It makes sense for his design to be a little more goofy since he isn't a very serious individual. And if you want to see a more serious design look at his battle tower one where he *is* serious and determined. If you exclude his character though your design is really well drawn.

I don't hate his flouf hair myself but his facial hair is kinda silly looking. His outfit is... rediculous which I kinda love about that nerd. He Raihan and Piers are all super charming but Piers's hair looks like he killed a linoone that wasn't his to wear on his head. His style itself is like decent cause the colors match most of his style goes together his shorts really don't go with his aesthetic well though. And then Raihan's outfit is literally a dragon cosplay hoodie and shorts I think... as for Leon... too many colors too many patterns too many logos... booty shorts but also tights?? Like idk what his canon design is trying to do lol. XD you did a really good redesign. Still a lot of clashing going on but it's cause it keeps true to his original design yours at least looks really cool though

Ur take on Leon's design is quite appealing, if only the creators could reach out to artist for their opinion to help further develop designs of characters they want to represent for their games. I'm not dissing game freak for Leon's design, but it was out there and sort of eccentric, though being able to look at the design with fresh eyes to have a type of spin off to the original image can be good for artist to take their own spin at the design
