He obliterates Janemba, and the kid just kind of materializes back to himself. It's not like the shell of Janemba is removed and he's there. Janemba disintegrates, and then the kid re-materializes from the dust. Even is left sparkling as he runs away. Seems like evil is pretty well cleansed from him. Also, the kid isn't some soul in Hell that needs to be cleansed.. he's literally an afterlife worker that just works down there. Notice how he doesn't have a halo? He's not dead. Gogeta does the same thing when fighting Omega Shenron. He reversed the negative energy ball and purified the bad energy out of it in GT. Then, when it exploded in space, it *removed the evil Shenron had put around the world*. He's literally there to erase evil. That's his whole thing. And it shows how incredible Goku and Vegeta are when they finally cooperate.

The way I would explain the scale of what Broly and Gogeta were doing here. Vegeta was able to shoot energy blasts that could destroy entire planets back during the Saiyan Saga before Super Saiyans were even a thing. Now they're Super Saiyan Gods, what you think those blasts are going to do? Another thing to note with the blasts, they actually go out of their way to never point them "at" the planet. It's all either horizontal or aimed up. They actually point this out during the Cell Saga when Goku starts charging a Kamehameha aimed down and everyone starts freaking out because Goku would destroy the planet if he shot it; turned out to be a bluff because he teleported to the ground and shot it up instead to surprise Cell.

It starts back in the DB era with Muten Roshi destroying the moon. Yes the moon is far smaller compared to earth or other planets but Roshi´s powerlevel was at that time more than 100times lower than Vegeta´s PL in the Saiyan Saga. That said, i think Roshi was not able to destroy a planet of the size of earth but his Kamehameha would be devestating for the life on the planet. And i am not sure what size the planet was wich was destroyed by Vegeta in the Saiyan saga.

In Super Broly, it's referred to as just Stardust Breaker because it's just that rainbow colored blast. A good gauge for Saitamas power is that Boros had to take a serious punch to be put down. Evil Natural Water also took a normal punch, but his regeneration is probably the best in the series so far. I think Goku could vaporize both, easily. He could sneeze a planet away if he wanted to.
