I Slept in a Truck at a Cracker Barrel Parking Lot Overnight

Were you concerned about safety while asleep? If I had an eye mask and ear plugs in, I'd be afraid of waking up to someone messing with me. I would also carry... protection, legally... but wouldn't want things to get to that level unless my life were in danger. Thinking about doing this on a cross-country road trip soon to avoid staying overnight in a hotel, risking contracting the virus before seeing loved ones. Great video and thanks for making it!

Hi Hans. Safety was definitely a concern of mine, but I felt comfortable in the area where I parked and ultimately realized that car/RV camping in that parking lot is a common thing. I too had a thought about someone walking by the truck and seeing inside and maybe knocking on the windows, but I brushed it off as highly unlikely to happen. I would recommend this experience and also a great way to avoid COVID exposure.

not all of their locations allow it from what it says when I researched. They say to call the location first to make sure.
