I love visiting motocamps around the world and this one in Alaska was one-of-a-kind. For the very first time in my life, I slept on a school bus. What an experience, I tell ya! In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.

I live in Alaska and have been to Tok dozens of times over the year. Vanessa is so cool and that campground may be one of the best motorcycle campgrounds anywhere. Also you missed an opportunity by not going to Fast Eddies Restaurant in Tok. Fantastic food and you will not go away hungry. It's an Alaska icon.Safe travels.

Stayed there many times. I did the teepee, the ambulance, but the gold miner’s canvas tent on a wooden framed deck was the best. Stay there when traveling thru Tok, AK. You will love it. Motorcycle friendly!

YESSSS!!!!!!!!! Eagle Claw Campground Is WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I stayed there in 2016. Vanessa is also wonderful and beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!! If you went around the corner above the toilets is a van ambulance. I stayed in it. Perfect safe from bears!!!!!!haha. safe ridin rubber down

One day on a journey through the Appalachian Mountains USA, I was riding all day. Plus there were way too many detours that day. I finally arrived at the Motorcycle Campground where I planned to camp. The owner said that they had a small cabin available. Immediately, I said I'll take it. Luckily, It was a good rate. So I kind of know how you felt that day. Excellent video, cool.

Great find, Thank You for sharing! I hate to differ with people but since my daughter sent me a Betty White quote I have to share it! Miss Betty White was quoted as saying; " I don't know why they say "Grow a pair" testicles are small and fragile, "Grow a Pussy- they take a pounding"!". Ever since then i may call people a scrotum but never a pussy! Please pass that on to Miss Vanessa with my apologies for being crude. I do miss Alaska, I was stationed there in the Army and my youngest son was born in Fairbanks while my daughter started her schooling there. Nice outtake. Great campground. Good to know about the repair cabin. I quit using an isopropane stove for the reason that you just discovered. I had no idea how much fuel was in a can, so I carried a spare and had to keep track of which one I was using. I replaced it with a firebox and an alcohol burner. I can burn wood - mostly sticks and twigs - charcoal, and alcohol. There's never a doubt about how much fuel I have. And I don't drink coffee. And now that you bring it up, how tall are you?
