Beautiful video of the Columbia River Gorge and crossing back over the Cascades. You got lucky with the weather in Seattle, I felt a bit of a chill with those memorials and the related morbidity.

Hwy 14 is not in a desert after You go east of Hood River Oregon. It followes the Columbia River and is a semi-arid climate. WA State has no deserts. Pretty ride though.
