@Eddie_Mx3
@Eddie_Mx3 8 ай бұрын
@@liljohn1064 improvisation is a extension of the work improvise which means to perform without preparation or in other words to make music using your own original ideas. Playing a melody of EVH solos is not improv neither is it creative and can I play them yes I can. So I’m not talking smack and I’m not trolling. I suggest buying a dictionary and reading it. Then know that this was neither original nor creative. Talent, sure but I would be more impressed if he did something original. So stop being a A$$ to people like me and look at something for what it actually is.

@@Eddie_Mx3he didn't play the eruption solo note for note and that's even better. It's way cooler that he put his own flair on it. I'm sure he is good enough he could play it, but it's boring to do something that has already be done. Real musicians find their own voice and tell their own stories and don't have to just copy something else. Sounds like you have some learning to do. Stop trying to be, so pedantic and breath, kid.
@Eddie_Mx3
@Eddie_Mx3 7 ай бұрын
@@nachyomoney3598 you mean breathe right? Work on your own issues before correcting someone else’s, man. First thing don’t call me kid. I’m not a kid. He played a melody of different Evh songs and techniques and it’s not original. That’s great that he’s good enough to play it. That wasn’t my point. The guys comment was that it was a improv. Making it out to be an original solo that was made up on the spot. I didn’t say eruption though that was in there in bits and pieces he also had bits from other Evh solo’s that he melded together to do his thing. It was not original or improvised. That is what I was pointing out. So that Eddie got the credit not this kid ripping him off to be cool at a talent show and posting it to be seen by the world. So how about you take your own advice. I don’t need your arguments at 6am. Goodbye

I want to follow this kid now and see how far and where he can take his skills to! The one thing that I completely loved and have never seen before was him literally just letting go of the guitar but holding it by only the whammy bar, and then shaking it to get that vibrato... Wow, just wow. Anyone talking sh*t about this kid is just jealous. This is way just beyond shredding or playing fast or tapping. He captured EVH’s feel and groove while adding his own spin on one of the best guitar solos ever - without a single other musician to back him up - AND have the stage moves and control of the instrument to jump around while shredding his ass off. I’ve seen dozens of videos of people who have played all their lives trying to capture this, and this is easily one of the best. Bravo man, you should be proud!

Wow. This came up in my feed and I honestly had low expectations, expecting it to be a cute attempt. I was a teenager when Van Halen hit the scene and was the reason I started playing. Phenomenal playing of Eddie’s live solo. I’ve seen Eddie live about 4 times. Your courage and dedication to play like him and give it as a free gift to the school at a talent show….wow. Nobody who heard you except maybe a few of the sports coaches who may have heard you will ever have a clue of what you just did or the work it took to play that, but I do. Keep playing, keep pursuing your dream. In fact, this is just what Eddie did. Don’t give up on your dream or leave playing bc you “have to go to college” or get a job. “Successful people find a way,” as they say. If you want it kid, you got it. Never give it up and Eddie will really be proud.

The genus of EVH was first he understood musically exactly what and how he was doing what he was playing and he could execute it like no one prior because of that knowledge and ability. But his ability to inspire others is legendary and may never again be seen, at least not by my generation, the generation that saw him live in concert, I did it and this young man is destined for Rock Star status if he Perseus it with the same passion and determination that EVH did! ROCK ON BROTHER!!

Talent is the God-given gift that makes certain things far easier to do than almost everyone else. A didactic memory, knowing how to play the piano from your first touch, the ability to speak multiple languages, and knowing how to shoot a basketball effortlessly without hardly any training are all gifts. One of my little girls could not understand checkers, but her baby 3-year-old sister explained it to her. It's a gift. Hard work hones it, and they become masters at it. It says in the Bible, God speaking to young Jeremiah, "I knew you before I formed you in the womb." He created him to be a prophet. There is nothing new under the sun.

Hey Kid, that was absolutely Phenomenal!!! I know a lot of Adult Seasoned Guitar Players who couldn’t perform that to even close to the way you just did it. Lots of people can play it exactly the way it sounds on the Album, but you played it the way it was meant to be played without a net, and you killed it. Eddie never played it live the same way twice. I know because I saw them Live around a dozen times. Your Parents have raised you right, and I’m sure they are very Proud of you. Be Proud of yourself Young Man, because you are gonna go places with Talent that immense at such a young age. I highly doubt that any of your Class Mates have any idea of what they were lucky enough to just witness in person. That made the hair on my arms stand up. Makes me very happy to see Kids of your generation carrying on Classic Rock N Roll for generations to come. Keep up the Great Work & don’t ever lay that Guitar down!
