You're completely wrong about Relaxo. Yes, the luxury segment will grow, but there's still a lot of market share for all brands to capture from the unorganized sector. I used to wear Relaxo chappals from childhood until last year, and they have increased the prices at regular intervals. We didn't like it, but still bought it because there's no other quality alternative (at least in this price segment). Additionally, for people in the lower income group, Relaxo is still considered luxury footwear (speaking from my experience). It's a short term fall, and it will break it's all time high soon. Disclosure: I have investment in relaxo & will invest more in future.

Relaxo commentary is hypocrisy. Relaxo was never having pricing power, but you told good things about it . So the moral of story is , you should accept that you made bad predictions too , relaxo numbers are still good its just tha their share price is stuck

Abe ghochu, apna homework kar aur fir public may bol. Dhyaan se dekha hota toh patah chalta ki sales up hai par profit margin half hogayi hai pehle se. Lower income group may koi nahi dekhta ki local pehni hai ya relaxo. Aur jo high income group hai unhe in donobrands se koi matlab nahi. Itni si akal lagani thi par vo bhi nahi hua, bus online aake kuch bhi bakk diya..

I would consider this video as a blip, from otherwise few quality thoughts/videos from you. This might be due to the goal to release mutliple videos on a daily basis. End of the day, its someones personal opinion with limited knowledge as is the case with any one on the "you tube". Investors to study and take right decisions. Reg Reliance - The outcomes and evolution of the initiatives (that are extremely good) is yet to be clear/realised. If it works, Reliance would be re-rated heavily on the higher side, with in 12-18 months. Reg Relaxo - They seem to have a challenge. Reg Bata - They never had a great market share in luxury segment. They are building new brands and will do exceedingly well in the medium term.
