The scout is a really good second round weapon. - Its cheap - Accurate even without scoping, - Easier to hit shots since movement is slow - Bodyshots still do significant damage - Sometimes ppl dont buy shield on second round

1:07 something interesting I just tested out: her throwables don't have a max distance - rather, they have a max flight time (how long they stay in the air before blamo-ing into the ground). Run-throwing it gives about 10 extra meters, yet they always stay in the air (unless blamo'ed earlier) for 1.5 (or so) seconds. Just an interesting thing I'd thought I'd share :)

The most you can get out of placements is Diamond 1, btw. And also, the best 2nd round weapon is probably bulldog because it has frag potential coming into bonus as well, if you hit your bursts you can outshoot a vandal/phantom.

"Is there a better second round gun than the spectre?" In imm2 me and my buddies all use stinger. it takes a bit of practice to get used to the idea that you only have enough bullets to kill 1 or 2 if you are lucky, but its significantly better than spectre. If you look at the damage numbers it only loses like 6% damage at long range so you can actually do really high damage with one good 3 shot burst. The main trick for med-long range is to shoot about 2-4 bullets and mid spray press right click to switch to burst mode, then finish the fight with bursts. This is because your movement speed is too slow when right clicked, so you want to swing with speed then swap to burst. My friend SmuggaD is able to go even with me for kills in 1v1 dm with a stinger when I am using vandal, its insane how strong the stinger can be when well practiced.

I just picked it up recently as I had enough of the spectre. I did not test it after the nerfs but the left click spray is almost always good for 1 sometimes 2-3. It is a very strong eco buy.

Hey, that's me I picked up the stinger recently after seeing theScore esports video on skully and watching+analyzing some of skully's twitter clips who is known for his usage of the stinger in radiant elo. I used to buy bulldog, guardian, and the spectre as a 2nd round buy, but I felt like all three of those miss something. I like using the stinger as a 2nd round buy, win or lose, as it have high potential to net a kill thanks to its high rate of fire and being able to pull some insane long range kills(if you can control its random burst). It's also highly economically efficient as it only cost 950 credits(as of May 6th 2022) and you're usually able to buy all your utility after winning pistol. The weapon be can decent on an eco round too because of its rate of fire and the burst being able to kill opponents far away. The stinger is definitely not as bad as people paint it out to be. With all that being said, there are some caveats about this weapon: recoil is pretty bad, recoil reset is bad, damage can be better against heavy armor opponents, and you have to reload after almost every kill.

Jett's changes is actually more of a rework instead of a nerf. It made her playstyle be more aggressive instead of just holding angles for years and just hit escape. The rework also makes you get her dash more often if you think about it.

How is that true? It's a straight nerf. It used to be "you can dash whenever" now it's "you have to commit to a specific time window you can dash in". As for getting it more often.... no? It's still two kills to refresh it.

The marshal is really good for second round. It's only 950 credits and is better than the csgo scout which is 1700. It can also 1 shot the body if the enemies do not buy shields, which they often do not on second round. It's pretty much like a better op on second round.

I don’t actually think valorant is inherently bad for content creators, rather it’s bad for long-form content. Considering that short-form content platforms like tik tok are incredibly popular, and valorant does its best to be trendy, I think it suits the games vision better to focus more on that. (Unfortunately for myself and fellow warowl connoisseurs, this doesn’t line up with our vision for what we want games to be). Just to hammer home this point- agents are relatively simple with few mechanics, with easily reproducible quirks. This lends itself well to a short video explaining it without much depth. It’s very hard to display a valorant experience that isn’t very quickly reproducible in game. It feeds the ecosystem very well, but at the expense of much of the game’s potential.

fun fade fact: the trails are for the DOGS. the dogs follow the trails. which is why in the VERY FIRST CLIP the dog didnt see raze. she wasnt marked with a trail. enjoy having that knowledge for your next fade games everyone

I think you shouldn't try to burn yourself out, we want more warowl after all :) I suspect you could capture the heart of the "play for 10 hours" while making some small changes to keep your sanity. Examples being a forced break at 5-hr for food, smaller snack breaks at 2.5-3hr marks, or even changing it up and calling it "play for 2 days straight" but only do ~6hr each day.

On big maps like Breeze, Guardian and Marshal are very good for second round. Marshal one shots enemies with no armor and Gaurdian two shots enemies with no or light armor. The first two bullets of Guardian go almost exactly where you are aiming.

9:30 for breeze, buy Ares, and use it with ADS + crouching spraying from as far away as possible (that's its most effective usage case scenario) though now with the recent buffs it's also pretty usable close range too. Alternatively, get a marshal aka the scout

I honestly like buying the bulldog on second round sometimes, it's a bit ballsy since you go for broke more than you would with a spectre, but it's extremely helpful if you're playing a longer angle, such as watching mid link from cat on ascent.

Round 2 guns are the spectre, the ares of u wanna wallbang (always scope and crouch with it tho) and the marshal, which is better than the vandal If you expect to survive the round, running a bulldog is also really good bc it can win against other rifles

Although it sucks to hear that it exhausts you to do this series at times (because this is honestly my favorite-- not that your other content isn't great as well. I just really enjoy seeing you play Valorant is all). Because I'd love to one day see a Playlist of you doing this with every character in the game. I would bingewatch the hell out of that! And maybe after you've that experience with all Agents, maybe you could give your take upon what's great about the Agents and how some things would be nice if they were to be changed. @TheWarOwl spent 10 hours playing Fade but still messed up the description of her abilities. It's okay tho, her kit is all over the place with deafen, blind, decayed, trails and all that jazz. (the Eye of Sauron gives the black trails to enemies, not the goopy sticky ball that holds them in place and decays them; ulti does not cause damage over time, but impact damage that recovers back to full in a few seconds)

The Marshall is imo the best 2nd round option if you win last round, cuz the enemies either have 0 armor or Light Shields, it's accurate no scoped, usable mid-range, and even if you don't kill them with a headshot they will literally die from 1 classic bullet if they bought light armor.

9:19 if you win 1st round gaurdian+light shield is a good pick for a full buy. if they lost first they're likely not going to buy anything more than light shields on second making the whole enemy a 2 tap bodyshot as it does 130 in two. also the gaurdian can still hold its own in buy rounds with good aim especially on breeze with long angles. hope this is useful :)
