A headphone stand with a cable holder/case would be awesome. I have HD600 and it is annoying when the cable is hanging.

I need to figure out some sort of case for my Qunexus, since they don't make them and I like taking with me for on the go production. I've been considering using my University's 3D scanner to scan my Qunexus, and trying to model a case with a bit of space for some felt to pad and protect it. I've considered making the lid magnetic too.

Let me google Qunexus right quick

Chord divider that can sit on the floor to keep things somewhat neat when chords are running along the ground. I feel like a six pack design would be cool

You figured out how to get away with slapping the guitarist in the face every time he stops mid take to try a new amp? Where do I send my money to?

The MD421 mic clips are also incredibly flimsy and break simply by looking at them. There was someone selling aluminum recreations of them awhile back, but I'm not sure if they're still in business.

That’s pretty sweet

To solve my studio problems you'd need a money printer instead of a 3d one hahaha. In all seriousness, they are also defunding the arts in The Netherlands. It's a shame.

If you can make some sort of universal shock mount that doesn’t suck that would be awesome. Some of them feel so flimsy, even on $20k mics!

This reminds me of the time I solved banding in photo editing by introducing a tiny bit of noise to fool the compression Al Gore-ism. Also I invented the moped when I was 6 and trying to ride my bicycle up a steep hill. I'm very humble so I'll just say... I'm a fucking genius.

Cable management needs help!! Whether it’s the 8 power supply cables coming out of the Furman or all the cables running in and out of rack gear

I've just got one MD421. I was also sick of the poor design of the Sennheiser original clip. My solution was to buy a cheap shock mount that the mic fits into. It works well, but your solution was nice.
@legacyShredder115 күн бұрын
Lewitt's rubber "hard" mount work great on those.

The easiest solution to the MD421 clip issue is just to wedge something under the release button. I used bamboo skewers since the diameter was perfect but you could also slide a toothpick under it and secure it with a bit of gaff tape. Cut it so you have just enough length to remove it when needed, and paint or sharpie it if you don’t want the fix to stick out at all
@legacyShredder115 күн бұрын
The easiest solution to the 421 issue is don't use a 421. ...I'm only half joking. There are moments when they work, but realistically I've got a crate full of 421's that I almost never touch.

HOW IS THIS EASIER?
@Hectagonist12 күн бұрын
@@brinepacer Wait, are you seriously asking how sticking a toothpick under the button is easier than 3d printing or buying an entirely new mount? or are you talking about the other comment?

i am 99% microplastics by now but tbh this beats single use plastics and i've also been able to repair lots of stuff that i'd throw away, or print something that i'd either have shipped or go out and drive to a store to grab, so i feel like it's not a bad thing
