I love this guy's way of aiming, it's slow but it seems to be really effective at hitting shots. I tend to rush my shots, this guy is taking it nice and slow. Seems to work, but the weakness would be high mobility heroes like Genji and Tracer.

Stylosa underestimates the absolute state of plat players. You're lucky if you get two people in the team chat and you're even luckier if they actually communicate like normal human beings. Most of the time no one ever listens to anyone and it's a massive pain in the ass. If you get lucky you win if n3kt you loose it's so difficult to get out of plat. Elo hell is real. I've won games where we played like shit and lost ones that I poped of. Individual performance means nothing in this game.

@Stylosa, typically at this level you don't get reliable value from dragon strike, and he probably is only playing to get dragon for a grav. You build your dragons super fast, especially when you are a competent Hanzo vs teams this feedy. So when Zarya gravs, if she hits anything, you do yourself a favor in the long run by just ulting and getting another one. You can basically guarantee she gets value, and the worst thing is her using a shit grav like this and not securing a kill. That's guaranteeing you lose the entire point. It's not worth it ever, to 'save' grav here. What are you saving it for?

It's also worth noting that at this rank, Hanzo sonic arrow is basically like a ping in Apex, and it can get a lot of value at lower ranks simply by tunnelling your teammates onto the glowy targets!

The only time I really shoot a sonic arrow other than it being at the wall is when they have rein, I’ll just shoot him cause he’s a mobile wall essentially and majority of the time his team will be around him. I’m also in Diamond so this may be the reason why the rest of the team doesn’t split from the rein too much when they hear the arrow but it’s really effective for this rank!

Reasons he's in plat - poor positioning, never uses ultimate (he could have built ult 3x over from when he uses it once), doesn't counter pick when the entire enemy team counters Hanzo (Pharah, Mercy, Echo, Ball, Sigma) when he could swap to McCree or Soldier and have more impact. While he is getting solo kills from time to time his actual damage per 10 min is incredibly low. He's not actually outputting any threatening damage. If he wasn't getting Mercy pocketed he'd of had a much worse game.

on offense they needed a rein tank, and a mcree for the ball. But Hanzo would have to kill most of the team to win the fits and push. but the rein had shield and he needed to be on high ground. Genji had no value with on offense for the team they were facing and they had a mei. But the hanzo play is good, but winning takes a full team.

First off I am not a high level player like Sty...but I am going to have to disagree with his comment on the sonic arrow usage. I have played hanzo since the beginning and I think he is my most played hero. @ 15:16 hanzo yeets a sonic at the bulk of the enemy and Sty ( love your content and I am legit a better player from your advice) says he could have just used a normal arrow there. Obviously me being plat means I make loads of mistakes but I don't think using sonic in this way is one of them. This sonic arrow will give wallhacks to the team even if he dies ( unlike widow ult) and now genji has info to go off of while he flanks (as he should be doing). This sonic arrow will also mean hanzo can more accurately jiggle peak a decent sight line or help him to reposition for a better sight line. Hanzos sonic arrow is I think an underrated ability, as it can give loads of information in many ways. I would also like to point out that pre fight sonic arrows are heard and avoided in plat ( and above I'm sure) while the audio que of a mid fight sonic is often missed by the enemy team and adds value to the sonic because they don't know they can now be seen behind walls. I also like to stick tanks with sonics because they will often go behind cover to regain health or shield and doing so reveals his team's positioning ( sonic arrow with legs?!? Yes pls). All this is just my opinion and I could very well be wrong, but I do also use sonic in the way Sty suggests and it does also get value and picks so I'm not saying that is bad or wrong only that I think the way this hanzo used sonic is also not bad or wrong. If there are any GM hanzos out there I would like to hear your opinion on this! Thanks Sty and again I mean no disrespect, you are my favorite OW youtuber!

The reason people are 'stuck' in a rank is always for a couple of reasons. 1. personal problems and difficulties like aim, being toxic, egoistic etc. 2. the overwatch community is so bad, a leaver or afk every couple of games, toxic people 1 out of 2 games leading to them not willing to play with the team, 3. Noone in voice chat 4. occasional cheater (not very often at all). The point is, overwatch is a teamgame, but not much people are willing to play like a team, always quick to blame others while they themselves have flaws aswell

4 sens @ 800 DPI is a great hitscan/Hanzo sens. Also works great with Tracer! I use 3.9/800 on everything, I mostly play off tanks and hitscans

great aim this guy would be masters if he just flanked and repositioned to catch them at off angles and ult usage of course, dragonstrike charges incredibly fast so dont be afraid to quickly use it in the teamfight. I'd give a 60% accuracy rate but only in this game not he's total skill idk how he plays normally but he was hitting more then missing, unloading storm arrows all at once isn't always good idea especially on small hitboxs I've learned to fire two then let them try to run and hunt them down with the remaining shots if you just throw them all out you have a lower chance of using then to their potential I prefer spamming stroms on heros that you can do quick DMG with small risk like tanks, medium to close range dps(that doesn't have an easy escape or retreat ability), bastion or turrents. Sonar arrows the way I've found to encourage a non commutative Zarya is to sonar a group where she's close so you can combo Ult
