I remember seeing aimbots do this little over 10 years ago. First time I saw it was on Combat Arms where the cheaters there would just blatantly cheat without a care in the world, killing the entire enemy team in seconds from the comfort of their spawn. As a ex-cheater, I've used one of these. It makes it more silent. Let's say there is a duo on you. You kill the one person that is closest to you or more of a threat (aiming at you), then the other player, but doesn't snap because it would be too obvious. Either that or he has a FOV box, which is a red or green box on your screen (you can choose different sizes). It shoots and aims at people that are in the FOV box. All in all, don't cheat in Warzone Pepegas. It is unhealthy.

This. Modern aimbots have a lot of settings. Two of the big ones are the FOV (how close you have to get your crosshair to an enemy before the aimbot kicks in) and how fast the aimbot moves your crosshairs to enemies when it triggers. This guy had the FOV way up, and the speed of moving to targets way down. That's why it kept switching between enemies the way that it did--whenever the enemy he was shooting at went into cover, it would trigger on the next guy in the active FOV. I don't use cheats in MP games, I just got so frustrated with the cheating situation in WZ that I went down the YT rabbit hole of channels that focus on the issue (BBB, GS, etc.) so that I can better identify cheaters when I see them in game.

So yeah this is late but this popped up in my recommended. The aimbot that PC players can download has intensity levels. From 1 -10. Most players leave this on 3 or less so that you cant tell they are cheating...you may just have suspicions. But this player has the level on 9 or 10 allowing the aim bot to choose the best shot. So it is bouncing between players as they run in and out of cover.

So Tim, the way the aimbot works is this: you know how when you have a SHOTGUN equipped, you see a circle instead of a crosshair? Well for aimbot you have a circle just like that (aimbot FOV) and can be adjusted in size. Aimbot is activated when a visible enemy is inside that circle. It can be tiny so you'd have to still be somewhat accurate when aiming for aimbot to kick on, or you can put the whole screen inside that circle by increasing the circle size. And like THIS guy, what happens is every single visible (or non visible, depending on hack) person INSIDE that circle will be auto-aimed at starting with the person closest to the crosshair until they're registered as down or dead depending on setting, or when they run out of view. This guy's aimbot is set to smooth so distance shots track slow so it looks stupid and he has aimbot distance set to super far away so stand on a tall hill on the edge of the map and hit almost anybody from there. So to clear it up, this dude increased the aimbot FOV to max...his whole screen. Makes it too obvious. He either doesn't give a shit, or he's a NOOB hacker.

Thats why they nees to give us the info on how they get them banned. So the whole community can weed out as many of the cheaters as we can. Cus we all know in game reporting does nothing!

This is the type of aimbot that used to plague Planetside 2 and Battlefield 4. People used them all the time with little to no repercussions because the anti-cheat systems couldn’t detect it since there was no actual snap to target.

They're called Silent Aimbots, they track within a general vicinity.
