The really nice thing about this series is that it works as a warning for the people who always harp about holding yugioh cards for stonks. Also as someone who enjoys data analysis, this is nice fun. Don't go back to accounting Phil!

It'd be cool to see a series like this but you're buying vintage sets and seeing how they do over time. For example buying all the 1st edition secret rares in original duel monsters in NM and seeing over time which ones rise or go down. Can do the same with GX era, 5DS etc

This is my favorite series and will always tune it for it. If we wanted to get serious about profit would probably have to avoid meme picks or have a small budget for risk/meme. The portfolio is too young to truly predict which cards will become worthy investments.

I think this is super cool, maybe continuing by looking at like 3-4 older formats that are being played, and buying cards for that to see how older formats get more popular, and how Konami maybe one day decides to help reprint older format cards

I think this series is amazing BUT it need more rules like nothing newer than 5 years old (taking example from 1st Movement Solo a 50cent Card from 2015 is now worth 30x times that for just a super), no S tier rarity (starlight,qcr,ulti,ghost), Maybe take a main set from (x) year and buy a certain quantity of the most iconic card of that set that has not gotten a reprint yet? idk just an idea. Love the video

We bought Starlight Lyna the Light Charmer Lustrous because of the Lightsworn Support, that is why it was over 300$ when we bought it. Little did we know, it was Punishment Dragon who shot up in value

I think we can continue this series but with some changes - you'd need to buy low and add the sell high component. Like for example droll QCR is low right now if you buy that and sell later when fiendsmith is a thing, you probably could make money! Holding it is a rough time!

Man, I agree. It's getting harder and harder to make a positive investment into yugioh. Re prints are dropping values, and the collector population is dropping, in my opinion. But there could be many other factors but I think those are the 2 main reasons. It's sad that even vintage is losing its value.

Additional to the individual cards you should buy boxes... As you see those gain value over the time.... If you continue, just as you said, just five years and see a new buy strategy.
