Well, I replaced it with the th-sound, unless it is “obvious” what kind of word it can be, like for example: Person = AQuaman Action = AcQuire Object = AQuarium.
@karlosfernandico20925 жыл бұрын
can you give away some cubes?
@JPerm4 жыл бұрын
@@cubotrix4152 some people do person-action-object and i do find those easier to memorize compared to something like person-person-object, but i also like having 1 word per letter pair as i find it simpler to use and learn. i try to find words that are an object if possible, and if it's also an action or person, then that's perfect. for example: RK = rake (rake monster, raking, rake tool) SW = saw (saw movie villain, sawing, saw tool) KN = king (king, put crown on head, crown) LT = light (deathnote character, use a flashlight, light bulb) but of course i have things that are just 1 or 2 types, like KC = kick or LR = larva. my list is still evolving and it would be cool to have more and more words that fit into all 3 categories

Hey dude nice improvement, and congrats on the win. To me it seems like you could get to sub 1 really easily with juts a few things: A: Do parity avoidance if you don't already, it helps a lot and is required if you ever decide to learn 3 style edges B: Learn advanced M2 cases (josh weimer has a really good series of videos for this) C: Try learning a few easy comms, what I did was learned the set you set up to in OP (so for you it would be the whole set of RUB - DFL) and then every time you do OP setup it's to a comm instead of a y perm, which helps you get into comms and is a good way to get a bit faster. Ofc if you aren't to interested then ignore all of this but if you do want to get faster do consider those : )

Hi Jperm a very good video as always. I have some questions about the list of letter pairs: 1. Is it good or bad if you have images for both edges and corners in normal 3BLD ? 2. Is it good or bad if you have multiple words for a single letter pair? Thanks in advance.
@durian75512 жыл бұрын
1. Audio memo is much faster than visual memo. Use them for your edges. 2. There's nothing too bad I can think of, as long as there's: (a) no slowing down when trying to pick one out of all possible words (b) no slowing down when recalling (c) no different letter pairs map to the same word
@krzysztof_jablonski5 жыл бұрын

The types of M2s are different because of regrips and only really matter once your at least sub-1 (Probably more like 45-30 though). Personally I do recommend Ishaan style M2 for the most part though. Pinky ring is kind of really bad.

For memo the parity what you can do 1. Take the last letter from the corners 2. Then take the last letter from the edges 3. Make a word with both the letters Ex: corners last letter: D Edges last pair: A Make it as 'DAd'
@DillPicklePatrick2 жыл бұрын
2 years I know, but just no. This would throw off your memo at high speeds and require more thinking for no reason.
