BMW K1600 GT: Is this too big for a daily commuter? What gear do I use for my daily commute

Hi. Sorry for late reply. No my wife doesn't ride with me now, I'm OK with the screen. They do say on open roads and motorways on the k1600 you get wind buffeting. As mentioned my Pan European was more stable.

Hi, I installed Piug Touring windshield. I am 5’ 9” and look thru the windshield without any discomfort

@ Thanks for the info. I am planning for some two up riding next year. Have you checked in the facebook forums? There are some good tips on specific windshield configs. There are quite a few groups for K1600

My wife use to struggle with wind buffeting on my k1600gt. Had a pan European, much better wind protection for passenger. I'm sure a different screen would help. Safe riding dude.😊
