Some tales of fatalis: It is said to be able to regenerate from a single scale. Forming an entire form of itself from just a smidgen of its being. Stories of hunters going mad while wearing armor made from its parts, later to be wandering far from anyone in the forest. Slowly going insane as they are encased inside as their armor becomes alive once again...

Didnt one of the older MH titles have a Fatalis greatsword, sealed in a cavern, and how it didnt regenerate BECAUSE there was no one nearby to use it?
@thatorangeboi7 ай бұрын

The reason they go mad is bc of Fatty's essence as it drives them to insanity believing they are the next fatalis
@bluntdancer70543 ай бұрын
4 months ago, but i wanna add a brick to the fatalis stories. If i remember correctly it was said that fatalis also melds oponnents (and their armors) that he defeated into his own scales, and thats why his scales are supposed to be as hard as possible. Additionally the ability to extend any skill cap while wearing his set would confirm it, since any other monster can extend 1 skills cap at most, and if he melded all of those monsters into his scales he would have gained their power.

Crazy ride you guys did there. Here a few things I just couldn't overlook: - The lack of temporal mantle fir most of the run was crazy, but respectfor not getting it eatlier and trying to just hang there on a thread. - The lack of aoe healing drove me crazy (in a fun way). So many carts could have been prevented if those items were used, but I also thought that you hiys also lacked the resources to spam them as they are not that easy to have in bulk. - the time it took you all to adjust to the new weapons was crazy and I have massive respect for that. - the desire sensor was a pain to you all and I feel that. - the use of the catch the penguins quest was one of the best choices there is. - the random lines of german threw me of guard. - behemoth is still a pain. - you guys didnt fight the mr kulve version, but the hr one. I do recommend you to do that one as well. - and you didnt hunt le super monkee, aka furious rajang and the brute tigrex. So you can also look out for those. - I dont remeber if you did the leshen in the world video, but in case you guys didnt, thats also ankther fun one to do. Besides that congratulations on beating the game in such a relatively short period of time. Also you did a wonderful job on editing and commenting.

Since it was my personal Wall in my own playthrough of Iceborne on release, I can confirm. Shrieking Leggy's only gimmick...is constantly summoning normal Leggy to it's location to make the entire fight a horrifically awful double battle. Glad you at least didn't suffer my worst death. I think it was attempt 6. One of them got into a yelling spree. And basically combo locked me down while the other rushed me and stole my last KO without me being able to fight back in any way. I have never felt more hatred and fury towards pixels in my life, and I hope I never shall again.

Monsters gain resistance every time you inflict a status/Flash/KO and eventually will become immune in MR. In the case of the frogs, you needed to frog it twice after the first. Same with weapons and knives: more hits/throws on consecutive inflictions. Knives are a great way to deal status if you guys had any.

a little late but for anyone that needs to drop mantle, gem, and plate, the best ways to obtain them are : -braking every part of the mob + cutting tails if so Can be done, for diablos for exemple break both horns, bot wings, cut the tail, legiana would need to have the head, both wings and the tail be broken, fore zora it's the cores and so on -from golden rewards from the quests you get at the intendance i don't remember how they're called -kill and carve instead of capturing, those item Can be carved on the Monster so capturing it would reduce the chances of drop don't forget to carve the tail, it Can also be carved in it and that's it, good luck hunters ! great video by the way, I was sooo happy when i saw it was a freaking 7 hours long video

@phoenixchampion7Күн бұрын
Probably way too late to help anyone- BUT for EVERYONE struggling with Barioth or Tigrex here's a tip. Your priority should the Wings. 54:43 that right there is why? For Barioth to crash like that he needs to not only be tired, but for at least one wing to be broken. Breaking one or even both Wings means Tigrex and Barioth can't rush around recklessly because they can no longer gripe the ground properly. This means when they are tired they will tumble over almost every time they charge at you. Despite the absurdity of Monsters in the series, they do have a bit of grounded realism even before World. So remember to observe the monster after you break a part there might be a change that isn't so obvious like the tail cuts. For example, Barroth can't rearmor himself in mud where there are broken parts- Break his legs and he can't cover them in mud. And Bracydios' slime dries up faster on broken hands. If you're having trouble with a particular monster, try breaking something other than the head and tail- You might find the Monster is forced to slow down or it's attacks change

I genuinely forgot to check the channel for a while and look, 3 more videos coming out of the oven and one of them is the sequence I've been waiting for so long , thanks you guys Personally, I love the format of the videos, and 7 whole hours, Holy moly, this is the biggest video I've seen so far, and it's worth every minute so far, by the way It's good to see that you guys also changed some weapons, I know it's difficult to let go from time to time but... Changing to a simpler weapon and realizing that it completes your style is always good, It's happened to me a few times too, but it's great to see that now you can have more fun and enjoy more of the potential of your own weapon. Also , I liked seeing that you all are always trying to improve your armor sets, I personally always create several complete sets of monsters and go between them, I am usually very attached to How they looks when i'm hunting haha Ps: Only 30 minutes left until the video ends and boy , you guys locked in on those hunts for sure
