I think it was day 57 when I killed Eikhtyr in my first run 😅 To be fair, Valheim was the first open world survival/crafting game I'd played. And, after trying out quite a few out there, still my favorite. A really nice video, got the whole playlisted cued up! Oh, and they made iron farming quite a bit easier now. Pickaxe hits all the piles in front of the swing.

I wish they had more finished when it came to the updates and content, but Valheim will always hold a special place in my heart. Something so special about it either being a viking, or trying to sail at sea and not die haha

But it gives me the opportunity to do a new run every time they introduce a new biome =) I'm currently sitting @667hrs. Still going for maxing out that atgeir skill.

If you have yet to play this game I WILL ALWAYS highly recommend it because it the soon to be masterpiece it will become! It's grindy at times, yes, but that when I will honestly throw on some music or even a tv show in the background haha. I really do appreciate the love and kindness man! A little tip for mining: For me the method of mining is to dig to the rock bottom around the deposit and then mining all the uncovered ore (with all the earth remaining within the circle).

Yeah, apparently people have been telling me that if I mine around it and underneath first there is so much more to the deposit to uncover, rather then just mining the top piece and losing the majority of the vein! I really appreciate the tip though Ajzan1 :D

@@RayofpandasGamingChannel Mining only the visible part of the deposit is a rookie mistake. I did it too up until my second world. Deposits usually rech rock bottom. The best ones are those far from the sea and up a hill, because of water that gets there at certain level, making mining hard. In my current (third) world I've recently many in game days mining and creating sometning of a quarry, because of how many deposits of both stone and metal were so close to each other.

That must've been one lucky world to have so many deposits close to one another! I've also recently started mining around and revealing all I can with any deposits I find in vanilla because you and a handful of others have definitely taught me otherwise, haha

There is so much copper under the ground. Cant tell if you are fully mining them. I must admit i quite enjoy digging a moat fullout around the node, making a small hut to sleep in with a forge to repair axe. Then udnermine the whole deposit so its let floating in the air. Then i just need to break a few peieces or nearby stone and watch the whole thing explode in a rain of ore lol
