In this slightly different adventure, I take on one of my biggest and longest challenges yet to build an entire village in DayZ. It took me over 100 hours to build this village, as I started as a solo, to building a massive army of villagers that dominated and controlled most of the server. But, as the village grew, so did the hatred from other groups.
Excluding cinematics, and narration - every element of this video is 100% raw, and organic footage recorded on a live server.

As someone who has made a village in Rust, I experienced the same thing you did. New friends, backstabbers, building your home- it's a one of a kind experience. Although it ended like it did, it goes to show that not every story ends on a good note. Because he could have ended it after a successful counter raid and a successful raid and there it would have been. But he rolled with it exactly how it went on, and that’s what made this movie what it truly is, awesome.

I’ve been binge watching DayZ on KZbin for nearly a month and I have to say this is the best video I’ve seen. The fact that you were able to pull this off on such a huge scale is amazing. Most of the time I’m left wanting when it comes to base building videos, because it almost always ends before you have a chance to defend a raid.
