I spent $1000 on an auction for a huge package full of amazon returns!!! I had no clue what was in the package but I just hoped for the best lol. Let's look at everything I got and see if it was worth it or a waste of money!!!

The toast cat hat actually is a cat cone kind of thing, so cats cannot get to any stiches after a surgery! It's actually a very good one, since a standard cone usually makes the cat bang their head against pretty much everything. The soft plush gives them enough room to move normally still! :D

omg the last one you unpacked is a toy I used to have when I was a child! It comes with a bunch of different fashion templates and you can put them in different orders to make different outfits and then you put a piece of paper in it and rub pencil or charcoal to show the design. I think you misunderstood something Naomi. Amazon returns you can buy aren’t lost packages or not claimed packages. In most cases they are items order and returned by people. Because Amazon does not want to spend the money to check and repackage the products they sell them in bulk to companies. Those companies then offer them for auction. That’s the reason why most packages are open or some times are even broken. The companies pick out the most valuable items before putting together those packages you can bid on. I think the more expensive items are sold separately or in special packages.

I work at Amazon and I’m 95% sure these weren’t lost packages, but things that were actually returned to Amazon. When Amazon gets returns, they will resell the things that come back in “like new” condition with unopened packaging, etc. Things that can’t be sold as “new” they sell in lots like this. That’s why parts are missing. Also, it’s standard for clothes that are returned to be sprayed with fabreze or similar odors removers, which is why the shirt smells like someone wore it.

Amazon is not really that common here. They've only recently started to crack down on local alternatives that we've had for years. It's only since 2021 that they are selling returned goods here at all. Definitely worth a shot.

I only know because I have one that looked like that straight out the package.😂 Also, I'm sure others have already said this one, but the 3-ring paper binder is the standard type used in the US. Our go-to lined paper is 8.5"×11" (A4 is close but not quite) & has 3 holes pre-punched.

Next time you bid, try to sit on it until juuuuust before time runs out and swoop in with bid like £10-15 higher than the current one. That way you don't push the price up and up so much throughout the auction. twist-lock power plugs are most commonly used in commercial settings. they can’t be accidentally pulled from the wall, and having a different plug also prevents people from plugging a high current device into a regular outlet by accident.

Yeah, we use them in commercial kitchens sometimes with the coolers & freezers so they don't get unplugged by mistake, since that's a giant disaster waiting to happen!

The cats can use the dog stairs as well. I had to purchase a couple sets of pet stairs for my cat when he got old and it was too difficult for him to get on and off the bed but he still insisted on it anyway.
