The only time I did this was August 13th, 2010 when Scott Pilgrim vs The World came to theaters. Me and my best friend were MASSIVE fans of the graphic novels. So we were super pumped to see the movie and we wanted to go with all of our other friends. Only problem is our friends all had different schedules. So, me and my friend Cole bought tickets to every showing that day, and then our friends would join us for different showings. I couldn't eat popcorn for a month after that day lmao

I used to do this as a kid with my dad. Back then at the AMC near my house there wasnt assigned seating so it was easy to sneak into films all day. The craziest was when jackass no. 2 came out and the auditorium was so full people that suck in were sitting on the stairs. We got kicked out but just went to a different movie. We would routinely be leaving the theater at around 2am. Good times.

I used to do something similar just for fun. And because I had no social life. My first apartment was within walking distance of a discount movie theater. This theater showed second run movies - movies 3-6 months after release; this was before the short window to home video era. An all-day ticket was $2.50, which included a hot dog and a large soda; buy one ticket, stay as long as you like and see as many movies as you want on that day. Food wasn't a problem - hot dogs were 50 cents, an endless refill soda cup $1, an endless refill popcorn $1, basically everything at the snack counter was a dollar. I'd go Saturday starting at about noon, see five movies, and could eat enough to feel bloated if I felt like it. I had summer off (I'm a school teacher), so during the summer, I'd go on Tuesday, and there were occasions when I would be the only person in a theater watching a particular movie. It didn't matter what the movies were, at least not much. The prints (this was back when movies were shown from film reels) were old and worn, and the theater never got big blockbusters like the Star Wars prequels, which were too big for second run theaters, and never got art house films, which didn't have enough mass appeal for a second run theater. It was open for like a year and a half, but during that year and a half, I saw everything that played in wide distribution; summer blockbusters at the new theater seating multiplex, and everything else at the discount theater. It probably wasn't as awesome as I remember it, but that's nostalgia for you, improving the past by filtering out the little details of the experience and leaving only the general impression.

I would do this whenever I was in at my local fancy Regal. Depending on the movies you see, it can be a really fun time. The last time I went I saw Empire of Light, Devotion, and to end the day I saw the 7:00 showing of Avatar: The Way of Water in 4DX 3D. It's a very underrated format for watching movies, and not many theaters have it, but if you have one in your area, you have to try it out.

I think the closest thing I’ve done something like this was my friend and I decided to go to the Philly film festival this October and in one day I saw: White Noise, a movie I was anticipating all year and loved it, Women Talking, then we ended the night with RMN, which probably was not the best way to end a long day of movie watching with a 2 hour Romanian drama, but I survived (my friend fell asleep for a little bit). So pretty much a day of no meal breaks in between movies (because of how close they start them in festivals) with movie runtimes totaling 6 hours-it was a lot of fun and I hope to do it again in the near film festival or movie marathon.

I watched 4 movies at a Regal cinema that shows the smaller movies that don't garner as much attention, and at that theater I watched Parasite, Jojo Rabbit, Queen & Slim, and Waves all in one day from noon to almost 1 in the morning. I was staying over at my aunt's apartment at the time, so when I got back to her apartment after watching all those movies at that theater, I just crashed and went to sleep. I've been wanting to do this ever since this video came out. Finally got around it recently. TMNT: Mutant Mayhem, The Meg 2, Talk to Me, MI: Dead Reckoning & The Haunted Mansion. 11:30am-11:30pm.

80 for Brady keeping you company is lovely. Also, why does this sound fun tho? I would say doing so with movies you've never seen, but the latter ones would probably just turn into a blur lol.

I did something like this a year ago. I watched Encanto, the irish movie, House of Gucci, and Ghostbusters Afterlife back to back. It was fun, and I watched a bunch of movies I wouldn't have watched.

Lmao had the exact same experience with the grinch on Christmas Eve 😂 plans fell through cause of the storm and so I was alone on Christmas, & I got to watch Jim Carrey going off in a somewhat packed theater, but it was genuinely awesome! I had never seen the movie in theaters, but it was great

Any time I’ve done something like this I try to make it all movies I haven’t seen before. That way when I inevitably get tired of watching movies, I get reenergized by finding a new movie I love.

I only watched two movies in a row at a theater, and it was black & white version of Parasites and 1917 (second viewing of both). Wonderful time

Did this back when I worked at a cinema, free entry for myself and my mum had a monthly membership we watched about 5 movies in a day every month or so (even a couple in IMAX) probably saved about £200 on movie tickets for that day alone 🤣 also the cinema food we had was a lot better and got discount for that too. I don't miss the job but I do miss the perks

Repent and follow Jesus my friend! Repenting doesn't mean confessing your sins to others, but to stop doing them altogether. Belief in Messiah alone is not enough to get you into heaven, you must become a new creation and be born again by responding to the Holy Spirit. - Matthew 7:21-23, Revelation 3:15-16 cf. Hebrews 10:26-29. Pay close attention to your thoughts and how you respond to your inner monologue because it has a greater impact than you think. Call on the name of Jesus and pray for Him to intervene in your life, and do all that you can to follow His ways.

I did this during summer of 2019 after getting back from a long vacation i wanted to spend time with my gf and catch up on all the new movies we missed while i was gone. we ended up watching crawl, toy story 4, midsommar, and men in black international. It was hell on earth and i rlly only enjoyed midsommar, and i passed out as soon as MIB started lol.

I remember there was a day a local theatre of mine had recently where films were $3. I watched 5 films that day and by the end I felt like my eyeballs were going to fall out.

A couple days ago I watched all of the (live action) Star Wars movies in two sittings. I call it The New Order Order. It wraps the original Machete Order in a way that is actually really satisfying. Basically you get Rey giving the saber to Luke, then the whole history of that saber, and then him chucking it. If you are watching with new people, just cough really loud when Kylo calls Vader grandfather and you also preserve the purpose of the Machete Order. You also get this cool thing where you see the end of Han's story and then the beginning immediate after, Rogue One makes A New Hope deeper, and you stick all of the _worst_ movies at the end. Somehow they feel less bad back there, probably due to delirium. - Force Awakens - Solo - Rogue One - A New Hope - Empire Strikes Back - The Phantom Menace ----- - Attack of the Clones - Revenge of the Sith - Return of the Jedi - The Last Jedi - Rise of Skywalker
