It must have been an awesome time to visit Syria back in the 90s. I wish I could have seen Palmyra before its destruction-especially the tower tombs

@@Austin_Davis2 ... it was a great time. The people were very welcoming too. Even an encounter with the army was amicable. Sadly so many things have changed for the worse.
