Great to see you finally make a video on the diansheng. It is seriously a game changer. I went from averaging adound 38 seconds with the 3d printed rexto to becoming sub 20 on the diansheng, which makes me 4th in the world. So i recently got into fto speedsolving, and i'm averaging around sub 1:10 and I did a small mod to the diansheng that in my opinion made it 500% better. You can take off the caps of the corners and you can see the magnets on the side. If you take some 3x2 mm magnets/whatever size you have, and put them on top of the normal magnets it makes the cube feel more stable and if also feels more pop resistant and lets you turn faster without having to worry about lockups.

I picked one up while I was in Guangzhou recently. Probably the hardest twisty puzzle I've managed to solve without consulting a guide. The light turning made coming up with longer algs (and performing them repeatedly quickly) much easier.

Regarding the last step, it's easy to forget the alg or to be inefficient building triples - I strongly recommend looking up 2 look TCP which makes the last phase easier; and I have a video on my channel showing how you can solve the very last step using 3x3 OLL algs. This is helpful because you can stop practicing for a bit yet not forget how to solve.

1:09 Regarding the color scheme, you can switch around the edge and corner caps to your preferred one, but it takes some effort and tools to do it. Believe me, it's pain as I separated the colored parts with a small flathead screwdriver and caused wounds on my fingertips. But it's worth it once you put it back together.
