WARNING WARNING! Outfeed ROLLERS can be very dangerous with table saws! If they aren't perfectly aligned with the end of the saw they will roll the work piece to the left or right and can cause binding on the blade, or at the least mess up the cut, at worst cause kickback and injury. Don't do it! Table saws need a flat table like support or roller bearings. Those roller supports are only good for chop saws.
@AlexKunstar3 жыл бұрын
Hopefully that's what he will actually use them with. I was also thinking they don't make much sense with a table saw and just assumed he miss-spoke. In the minute chance he didn't, I hope he listens to your warning and anyone else who would think about a similar dangerous setup.

Most of my hand tools are DeWalt and I've had good results with them. My larger tools like table saws, and band saws, and drill presses are Ryobi. Ryobi tools may not last as long as DeWalt but they are a lot cheaper, so if one wears out it doesn't set you back much. And all of my lawn tools are Ryobi. I like the interchangeable batteries. Even my lawnmower is a Ryobi electric. But I still have some very old Craftsman tools that just keep going, a jigsaw and and drill. I wore out the old Craftsman circular saw a few years ago. I built a lot of stuff with that tool, remodeling projects, a ground level deck, stairs and a landing to the upper deck, and a screened in porch on the upper deck. It died cutting the last board of the screened porch. May it Rest In Peace.

To further 2nd question. Which is more of the benefit for your remolding / drywall work?
@vancouvercarpenter Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the super thanks Jim. It’s quite important to me to use tools from the same platform. That being said I will still choose a different brand if I like the tool better. But it’s annoying and expensive to have to have batteries and chargers from multiple brands. I have a minivan because I have four kids. It’s the only thing I can carry all my tools and kids in at the same time. However, after years of hauling tools and materials in the same unit that I drive in I would love a pickup truck. The separation would be nice and I think my next vehicle will be a pickup truck as my kids are all getting older now and I never have to drive more than a couple of them around at one time.

Not arm chairng here Ben, but I have those two same outfit rollers as you do and actually used them for a long time. I had an epiphany the other day and realized that it should get the ball bearing out feed rollers as the directional roller ones can really affect your cut on longer heavier things. It either directs it towards the fence of the saw are away. If you don't have it dialed in just right to your saw. I'm sure you've used these things lots before, but I think I might invest next in some ball bearing rollers so that it doesn't pull the material toward or away from the fence binding the blade
