“Oh Happy Day” gets my vote. Just makes you wanna MARCH and I love the feeling of tradition it brings.

It will always be Oh Happy Day. I grew up around FAMU when they practiced on the old Patch. Red clay dust flying everywhere. Fondest memories

Oh happy day for me being a percussion player. However Good Times is very versatile. You can come straight off the field from any formation “keeping ya head above water”. I’m a classic man tho so Oh Happy Day! Fall 2001

Crazy part is. We shake the tree with “oh happy day”, but only played it once a year and that’s homecoming. Every other time it’s “good times” 😂

Oh Happy Day was initially played in 1968 as an exit half time song. I was a Freshman in 1971 and our Freshman Class was the last to get bald heads. My Freshman Class was the last of the Old Hundred and I’m not proud to say this but there were no females in the band during my five years in the band. Blacks have been a spiritual people since 1619 and Oh Happy Day is spiritual in nature. What ever happened to tradition?

What about Got to be Real? as featured in 1998, or even Simply the Best, from last year? I like it when M100 mixes it up on us with the exit song.
