I remember when I was Shiny Hunting my own Munna, I found a Shiny Ditto that was Jolly Nature with its Hidden Ability Imposter. I still got the Shiny Munna later but I literally got both Shinies of the Pokémon found on that Mirage Island. Definitely one of my best Shiny Hunting moments lol

37:49 The reason it had 3 perfect ivs is due to Pokemon in the Undiscovered Egg group having guaranteed 3 perfect ivs from Gen 6 onward, which I'm guessing was primarily made for legendaries due to their once per file nature, but baby pokemon and Nidorina and Nidoqueen get grouped into it due to also being in said egg group.

This actually only applies in X & Y, which makes it even more unique to those games! In ORAS they fixed it so it only applies to Legendaries and Mythicals (and as of Sun & Moon, Ultra Beasts).

i feel like we probably will get to shiny hunt legendaries in scvi. reason being: we don't have any of what we got from gen 8 available as huntable yet other than the new regis, including enamorous. the other thing is we already haven't been able to hunt anything post gen 4 since crown tundra came out, and besides if they let us hunt the mythicals other than manaphy in sinnoh as like the one redeeming quality of bdsp, i feel like they could easily let us hunt legendaries in scvi. also for your consideration: none of the swords of justice nor the regis got the easy hunting method in swsh, and the only place that type null/silvally can be hunted legally is on a handheld they're slowly shutting down. i think at bare minimum since the gen 8 legendaries are all in already, we're gonna get to hunt them and there's a solid chance we get something with the swords of justice and the beasts/dogs since we already have walking wake and iron leaves, which when combined with what we know from the scarlet/violet books implies we're getting paradox forms for the others in their trios meaning we're forced to get regular versions since no other paradoxes exist without a present day form appearing somewhere in paldea.

@@Jadeshinyhunter22 nah it’s not impossible. There are videos on KZbin that explain how to replace batteries. Some retro game store replace batteries for older games. You just have to do research and see what’s around your area. Replacing the battery cost money and soldering skills so it’s not the easiest thing to do 😅 hence why it’s better to find some place that does that for you 👍
