How far/close would you recommend standing when hitting the "search" button. My biggest issue is that no matter where I seem to stand, the chain will just break even though I'm doing everything right

@@TheTrueFoxFell the chain doesn’t break if you don’t spawn a Pokemon from searching. Just battle a random dexnav Pokemon and search again for the Pokemon you want. Dexnav is unique in that the chain doesn’t require to battle the same Pokemon each time. To keep a chain active just battle ALL Dexnav spawns that show up and it will work just fine ✨ Before you search stand outside the grass location. You want enough space so that Pokemon will spawn with Dexnav. If it doesn’t spawn run in circles until you get a random spawn, battle that Pokemon, and search for the Pokemon you want. By battling the random spawn it should reset the Dexnav and let you search for what you want ✨

@SmkGaming05 wait really? So if I'm on a chain of 7 and I click search and it says "it couldn't be found nearby" my chain will stay at 7 when another pokemon shows up? Or will it break if I keep hitting the search button until my target shows up? If thats the case, thats really good news to me

I got a question. When dexnav and another Pokémon pops up while chaining can I just make that Pokémon flee and keep chaining or will it break my chain. I’ve been shiny hunting for days with good success so it might not be a problem.

I have a shiny charm 😅 Sadly the shiny charm does NOT work with legendary Pokemon in shining pearl so you gotta keep trying 🙏

@@Malaysianpeace13 using a Pokemon with false swipe Pokemon move makes Pokemon easier to catch because it gets the Pokemon to 1hp Or you can put the Pokemon to sleep to make it easier to catch

hey, something i found out recently and this could be the same for you is that you could have clogged tear ducts. This then causes your eyes to be dry making you extra sensitive to light... i started putting a warm flannel over my eyes for 2 minutes then massaging the top and bottom of my eyelids and this has helped sm. this was all recommended by optician btw.

Nah that’s not my issue, I’ve always been sensitive to bright lights my whole life. I just push through the discomfort. These days I have my blue light glasses, warm lighting on my computer monitors and I drink plenty of water. Thanks for the tip though 🙏

I had a chain of 40, then it broke because I accidentally walked into a soft shaking grass that I didn't see because it was right above me by one tile. My head was in the way. 😭😭

yeah that's the worst thing that can happen. I've been there before and it brutal when it happens. Keep trying and you will find that shiny :)

Glad someone is thinking what I am about this, I've decided to use my copy of sword just for the max raids and legendaries, but after learning this I was so disappointed because I was going triple over odds for everything I had put work in for with nothing to show so it saddens me to say but I will no longer just enjoy that game it will be raids or nothing for me.

I'm currently trying to get Goomy via SOS and the other day I got two shiny Fearow within two encounters of each other! (also hunted for eight hours straight and no Goomy unfortunately...) Hopefully I'll get it when I do another attempt this weekend ^^

Hi Steve, it's me, again. I've just noticed something interesting about sos battles. Once I sent out Mewtwo with Pressure, I noticed that the Cubone I'm currently hunting ALWAYS call for aid, but most importantly the aid ALWAYS come to help. Did you ever notice it? I'm aware that Pressure helps the Pokémon looking for aid, but not to actually get the aid!

Yeah pressure works the same way intimidate does. Hence why I use a mawile in this video! Also using a super effective move also helps! Depending on the Pokemon it makes them call for help all the time or makes it a little easier 🙏 Just really depends on the Pokemon because some have terrible SOS call % 😅
