The listings on eBay actually has no connection to the Japanese sellers, just some middle person that translates the mercari or yahoo titles/descriptions and post it on ebay doubling the price in hopes to profit the 50%. And if some ebay buyer bites not knowing, then middle man buys from japanese seller and ask to ship item to address of ebay buyer.

I got lucky in about 2019 for a bundle of the Soul and Maka volume 1 figures for about $50 on depop still in box and authentic!! Still some of my favorite figures just because I love Soul Eater so much

I think in general they don't consider markets big if it is for old titles. (Some exceptions like Neon Genesis obviously exist). I would love some Grenadier figures for example, but doubt they'd ever make them. Similar with Umineko figures, but there I at least have a small glimmer of hope that they could make some since it is a big title.

I remember when these Soul Eating Trading Arts vol. 2 set first came out years ago, I tried my best to collect them all through blind boxes. My god, it probably was not the best decision but this was the time when Soul Eater was still airing thus at it's peak popularity. I NEEDED THEM. Got x1 Tsubaki, x1 Blair, x2 Black Star & x4 Death the Kid. Till this day, Im still missing Maka & Stein.. I have given up hope of finishing the set due to the price on them now, obvisously

Literally yesterday I put in a request for GoodSmile to make Soul Eater PUPs. I really want a scale, and I'm always slightly hopeful, but it's a longshot; I feel they'd maybe settle for PUPs. Either way, I'm desperate for a new, proper figure for Soul, and maybe him and Maka as a set in their Black Blood suit/dress. Such a missed opportunity for figures with this series!!

I own the Death the Kid one without guns (vol 2?), it didn't come in a box but was still sealed in it's original plastic packaging and cost about £40. I found out about them in mid 2021, but was aware of the Haikyuu scales since 2020. I think people mainly found out by going through mfc or solaris japan thoroughly, since buyee is very clogged with other items.
