31:29 Just a thought. Instead of A-B to A-C. You could label each tote with A-1 A-2 A-3 all the way to A-8 and then on to the next shelf being B-1 B-2 and so on. It might reduce mixing up lettering for processing.

Love the idea... My cousin and I did it for 5 years out of our garages and basements. Buying pallets of stuff at an Auction House and piecing things out to sell on eBay. Auction house eventually caught on but we sold everything from computers, coffee makers, printers to CPAP machines. Auction house eventually caught on and they picked through good stuff to list online. We both had kids and it took a back seat.

Have you seen Daily refinements inventory system? It is just a continuous number system with bins. Everything stays in order. You do have to break bins down and move items up the line as sales are made to maximize space usage but things should always be in order. You make or buy preprinted number sticker sheets, bag your item then tag it and in the next spot it goes.

one of the things you will underestimate in this business is liquidation. Once you find everything worth listing on ebay dont be afraid to have a crazy garage sale with low prices before you start throwing things out. Might be fun content too. People go crazy for garage sales. Plus cash is king.

I bought beanie babies from an estate sale, I literally had to build two 10x8 sheds in our back yard to store them all. We have about 50 of those black and yellow totes from Costco literally packed completely full of beanie babies. I’ve never seen or heard of a lot bigger than mine, keep in mind our entire loft area above our garage already was full of them from other times I picked some up. Don’t know what all is even in them, just bought em and stored them for later. But yours isn’t even remotely close to the size of my collection.

Rob, I was listening you to talking about your business ethos and why you do these companies and it reminded me of years ago, when I worked in the City (London). A CEO who I worked with, was like a breath of fresh air, compared to others I had worked with. I asked him one day, what the secret was of his attitude and why he was so liked and successful. He told me, there is only 3 things you need in any business to be successful. Whatever you do, you need to: 'Do some good', 'Have fun' and 'make some money' If you did any of the other 2, the 3rd would come naturally, in whichever order you did them. The company was so relaxed and we certainly had a lot of fun doing what we did. The customer always came first, nothing was ever too much for the customer and guess what, because of these two things, we made a lot of money. Keep doing what you're doing, because you're good at it and have that same ethos.

Me and my friends used to make a trip to Dallas two or three times a week buying storage units. It was a blast. But then storage wars got involved and everybody quit making big profits because everybody was going after that. We resold everything at busy Bee auction near Tatum Texas
