I didn't realize that you could get the Ekko on a Sprinter chassis. I would pay the extra money to get the Transit version.

The magic number was no more than 17% of your total drive time. The service techs said that with the new engine/DEF that is what Mercedes is recommending

YES, Long Term Idling Of Any Car or Truck With A Gasoline Engine Will Cause Spark Plug Fouling And With Today's Technology Computerized Vehicle's That Can Trigger Several Trouble Codes In The Onboard Diagnostic System, Making It Difficult For The Service Mechanic To Diagnose, Unless The Vehicle Operator Is Compliant And Honestly Answers Accurately. There Should Be An O2 Sensor Typed Device Developed Or Something Along Those Lines That Monitors In Detail The Exhaust Emissions To Prevent Spark Plugs From Fouling During Long Term Idling, It's Been A Problem Since The Days Of The Carborated Engine Day's. It's Kinda Like A Trap...
