Yep, I went out and dropped over $70K on cars including a 2014 Mercedes S550, 2014 Mercedes e550 convertible, 2009 Maserati Quattroporte S, 2012 BMW x5 x35d, 2014 Kia Forte ex, 1940 Chevy Master Sedan 85, and a Mitsubishi iMiEV then proceeded to leave them abandoned under a tree. When I returned there was damage.

Yeah the Hyundai and kias are great first cars. My first actual car that I drove from point a to b with a 2013 Hyundai Elantra it had maybe 10 miles when I got it I put 120,000 miles on it before I traded it in for a 2022 Mazda 3 turbo which is a upgrade on power, but my fuel economy was hurt. The Mazda is getting 26 miles to the gallon where my Hyundai Elantra was getting 36 to the gallon. So yeah that hurt the wallet a little.

Only thing I would do to it is tint the windows, detail and ceramic coat it. I would leave it stock and just drive it. That car gets a full 400-475 mile range on fill ups (on premium gas). The steering and idle is smooth as silk on the Kia Forte and its sister, the Hyundai Elantra. 2011-2016 Fortes and Elantras are super reliable like the Corollas and Civics as long as proper maintenance is performed frequently.

With the amount of hale you have in Oklahoma, perhaps it would be a good idea to have a large carport to store the vehicles under. One good halestorm could severely reduce the value of your inventory. Either that or have really great insurance to cover the loss.

S550 was probably owned by either a person or company that was a limousine service. That's why the mileage is so high. They probably serviced it pretty well but sold it and bought a newer one. If the passenger seat appears to have barely been sat in, it was definitely used as a limo/black car service.

Considering the $ on the table and the likelihood that you won't find deals like these in today's market again, there are 2 cars & a wild-card that I would definitely keep and enjoy for a long time to come everything else I would liquidate including your Ram so you can get out from underneath it. With that being said I'm simply trying to look at things from your perspective and I hope it helps. Now then the cars that I would keep and enjoy are the Maserati and the S550 without a doubt. The wild-card that I mentioned that I would also consider keeping if everything else was liquidated would be the E550. Unless of course there's a Buick Grand National you have your eye on and if so I wouldn't hesitate to jump on it, trust me you'll love it 😇.

I can relate to the remaining check engine light. My 97 sable has one for the purge valave circuit fault and just won't go away. I replaced the purge valve and still have the check engine light.

Randy check Kia. That 2014 should be a part of a recall for engine issues. It is a part of a lawsuit out of CA for defective engines. Three of my former Kia were on the list. But I no longer own them. I received a letter in the mail, the threw it out.

I just bought an 02 Monte Carlo SS with only 110k miles on it for $3k. Yes it does leak a little bit of oil from the oil pan gasket, needs outer tie rods and lower control arm bushings and a paint job from maaco. But, it’s a cheap car, I’m not upset, it drives great!

For me all cars are special old and new,the old ones have a special place on my heart. My family car is Opel Astra Caravan 1.4 16v 90hp and i love her. My daily to go work and have some fun is Seat Ibiza GT TDI 110hp oh man the fuel economy and the fun you would be surprised Randy.
