I also just got a collection from a family who played from 1994 to 1998 with 6000 cards that was definitely not searched. They said they had no clue, fished a few good cards out but had trouble identifying the overall value. Those things still come up every now and then

I love old cards both for their nostalgia and simplicity (most of the time). I know my gf could handle learning the game as she gives me a run for my money when we play dominion. These older cards would be the perfect way to ease her into the game's mechanics. I started playing during revised (circa 1996 at least) when I was 12 and my older brother guided me through learning the game. Good times. I love and miss the old stuff!

I saw a lot of Forbidding watchtowers. Check them again and look for the ones without the symbol. It's a common mistake but always a misprint.

I want to share one Magic Story, i never told anybody. A confession... Way back i drove with the boys to a Limited grand Prix. Could have been paris or Something like that. The last kamigawa set (betrayers?) was fresh out and i didnt get much into it b4 the grand prix. Im during seald deck building, almost done. Braining really hard over the last 2 cuts. So im sitting there Reading the card "Umezawas Jitte" like 10 times, wondering if it is any good, while im scratching my head.... Put it in, put it out... In... Out.. Last second i put it back in... After deck building my buddys and i showed each other Decks. They: Whhhohhh JITTE!! Me: yeah...? (Waiting what they say next. Either that i got a Bomb, or that im an Idiot for adding a crap card. For me it was 50/50😂😅) They: man you so lucky! Thats the nr1 bomb!! Me: yeah, i know! 🤓 And now Stop touching my Jitte, Bitches!! 🥳 My deck was pretty good and i made day 2. Obv jitte was insane. But you see. I easily could Have been the guy, that didnt put jitte in his sealed deck, didnt make day 2 and most likely the guys i Went to the GP would still call me every once in a while up until today, Just to prick me 😂😅🎉

If you think that collection is cool you should let me sell you mine. Shipping would be ridiculous but I have been piecing out bit by bit selling too card conduit and a LGS. Just what I have in my house is over 30k cards. I was making sets so alot of binders that are not fully complete but it would rock your socks off. In my storage I have over 40k more cards. Alot of bulk but still have plenty of sealed product and accessories like playmats sleaves dice. Open commander anthologies 1 and 2. Just done with this chapter of my life. Can't say I won't return but prioritize what I'm needing too. Just broke apart my sliver deck I started since I was 15. I'll be 41 this year. Good buy for 800.
