I’ve never done it before. You actually inspire me to try it for myself. I really needed to see this. I appreciate how vulnerable you are being on camera and you deserve all the success coming your way. You are a star and you inspire people like me to be stars just shining in your own light. Thank you for all that you do. You are brilliant. 💖✨

Yes I’ve been doing it for two years now and it’s made so much come clear for me. I understand myself a lot better and it’s helped me to become an observer about my beliefs, emotions, and behaviors. I am so thankful I started. The whole reason I started was because of the program Awaken Her Soul by Madison Moorigan. Her program changed my life! Did it during quarantine and it’s the best thing I did for myself in my life so far. I have been so thankful to find myself again by going inward. I can relate to you so much that coming back to your inner knowing and source is so beautiful and comforting. Thanks for sharing! ❤️❤️❤️

My latest shadow work and new moon release was pretty deep. I was feeling off and rather than ignoring it, I kinda followed the cookie crumbs of negative thought after negative thought. It was funny how my brain really didn't want to admit things, as if I really didn't want to tell myself the truth because when I finally got to the truth, it hurt so bad to admit.
@chillwithCourt
@chillwithCourt 2 жыл бұрын
The activity I did specifically was if I had a triggering thought, I would write down the thought that I had, what was going on when I had it, and why I thought I had the triggering though (right or wrong answer, I just needed something to track). I would go back to the journal page and use these like clues (the "cookie crumbs"). It took a few weeks to get to the end where I was able to put enough pieces together to work with the problem, but it was worth the effort.

@@chillwithCourt Wow! You are so brave to do that! Its powerful when we understand our triggers and can help ourselves by changing the narrative. I have done this myself as well and I found it super hard but helpful also all at the same time. :)

I am so sorry to read that you are facing recurring negative thoughts... I can really relate to that. I have studied medicine for several years and felt really out of place in medical school. I felt really lost and thought that making a living from a passion was working out just for others. I felt so stuck that I did not know where to start. I embarked on the journey to overcome my fears, limiting beliefs and internal conflicts in regards of giving myself a chance to do what I really love. Today I am going all-in and creating my own business as a coach and I am happier than ever! I really wish you all the best on your journey and know that you are not alone! If you ever want to have a chat about this topic let me know! I love connecting with inspiring women 🌞

This video was everything for me. I totally could relate to the upbringing portion about being mixed and facing racism/bullying as a child and that translating into feeling the need to prove yourself, which then domino effects into how we show up in our adult life through content creating. I haven't made this direct connection through my shadow work so that you for sharing your work vulnerably with us. Shadow work can be so exhausting but it's so worth it when you take the time to slowly work away at it. I recently found your channel and I love what you share, thank you Lynette

Lynette, thanks for always being so transparent and honest... I'm not familiar with this book... so I'm def going to check it out.... A big "AHA" moment for me in shadow work came after hearing a profound insight by Dr. Bruce Lipton... He stated that, "95% of our life comes from the subconscious programming we received in the first seven years for life." He also went on to say that, "our life is a print out of this programming." The game changer in my shadow work came after understanding this idea of subconscious programming (The shadow operating system)... Meditation has been my primary tool in shadow work because meditation develops this skill of present moment awareness... which allows you to see these negative thoughts in real time and not place so much importance on them... It's like seeing your thoughts as a spoiled child wanting attention... put them in time out by not focusing on them and "do you." The more you do this the less these shadow thoughts have control over what you do and how you feel. Your channel is changing lives, so don't give up. Hope this helps.

and if you’re like me don’t think always have to plan out an entire day or a few hours to do shadow work. sometimes it’s just taking one negative thought or feeling that you tend to have and sit with yourself in that moment and break it down and ask yourself why you feel this way and where those feelings came from. you’ll be surprised how deep you can go at a random unplanned time. and ALWAYS do it with love and understanding. think of yourself as your own therapist that you would want to be vulnerable and comfortable with. blessings 🙏🏽🤍

Thank you for sharing your experience. I think we are so similar. In each job I have had for the past 10 years, I am so productive so consistently that I always burn out. My partner asked me why I work that way. But I had to dig deep and realized it stemmed from childhood events of not feeling wanted or valued. I always felt like I had to prove myself so hard- extreme imposter syndrome.

I am so glad that I found your blog because every other creator who talks about manifestation and affirmations kind of go about it in a snobbish kind away. You go about it from your perspective and your journey you’ve gone through to reach ur higher self. The people who find you “fake” maybe they’re the ones that really need to do the shadow work and really figure out why they think that. Can you put it out there I really appreciate your content. Routines are traps we put ourselves in. Doing the same thing everyday makes evolving impossible. You'll just be doing the same thing everyday. There's nothing wrong with not following a set bed time/set wake time. The only thing wrong with it is what society has to say about it, which you can absolutely ignore. What I've found to be helpful for me, is not pay so much attention to "wHaT tImE iT iS"...and pay much much more attention to what my energy levels are in the moment. Sometimes I'm more productive in what we call the "morning". Sometimes I'm more productive in what we call the "night". Imagine having lots and lots of creative energy one night but then telling yourself you have to go to bed. What a horrible missed opportunity. Imagine waking up very early when you aren't feeling like it, just to force yourself into being productive. You're setting the tone for your whole day to be forced. FREE YOURSELF FROM THE ILLUSION WE CALL TIME❗
