“One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The latter procedure, however, is disagreeable and therefore not popular.” - Carl Jung I hope you like this video, it's a bit longer than usual but I wanted to give a good overview of shadow work & how to do it ~ Let me know if you have any questions or feedback, I'd really appreciate it! 😊

It's the exact opposite of your personality type so it's definitely easy to do. #1. Learn your personality type #2. Find out what your opposite type. #3. Watch 50 to 60 hours of KZbin videos on the behaviors and Traits of the opposite type. Now that is lessons learned in pure Positivity so it's definitely a great learning experience. INFJ-T to ENFP-T. it's definitely not going to be a negative life experience again.

No thanks I don't need the retardedness that American Women's Shit Circus of American Dating. Ostracized, Invisible and Abandoned for 25 years therefore I will not allow anyone else in my life again because I have nothing to offer anyone so I don't have any Needs or Wants that anyone else can satisfy. What do other Men have that I don't. Social skills and wealthy families. It's a great thing that I have spent 33 out of 44 years old or 77% of my life experience so far lived in Isolation Solitude and Celibate. And that's exactly how I will patiently wait for my final moment alive. Finally I will be able to return home where I belong. Magus Gatekeeper of the 5th gate. I don't think being a Genetic Primary Psychopath INFJ-T is the best possible outcome for law of attraction. Because I have Zero Patience for people who have Zero understanding of Do onto others is and why it is extremely important. Otherwise not guilty by way of Temporary Insanity with a great mess for others to clean up. Therefore I will not allow anyone else in my life again yet you can do whatever you wish and be constrained by your executive functions while I have 6 learned behaviors to supplement my decision making ability. You survive a 98.56 mortality rate from a Frontal lobe collapse get Ostracized from Society in the 3 rd grade tormented and tortured since day one from birth by an older brother. a mom that emotionally abandoned me and a dad I referred to as the big dumb drunk animal. From 4 to 19 every other week getting beat even if I was sleeping because I had to rewire my brain. The first time I heard him yell life or death I was 11 so I have more than a few issues that I acknowledge and I don't care what anyone else has to say. If I'm left alone in isolation living in Solitude and Celibate then everyone else is going to fine so it's definitely ok to believe anything you wish that I would be capable of and the common issues that are fixed within minutes for others. I would love to hear the solution to create something that has never existed before such as future consequences, appropriate punishment for the damage received, along with the other 24 executive functions and how to implement them to automation when they are triggered. Otherwise you enjoy your Journey and I will exist until my final moment alive then be forgotten as soon as possible. I have never belonged here in life yet here I exist. Love doesn't exist external for me so I will not attempt to find it or allow anyone else in my life to destroy me. I'm sick of the retarded Cumdumpsters, whores, and Prostitutes who pretend that they are good girls or I got the wrong idea she is not that type of gal. I insta replied keep telling yourself that and maybe one day you will believe it. What the fuck did you do last night to earn money. When I tried to give her a gift for buying products from me at $250 daily for 5 months. So what the fuck is wrong with women that even prostitutes pretend that they are good woman with High Character Values Morals Standards and Principles? Fuck that stupid shit. I have learned that I have nothing to offer anyone so I will not allow anyone else in my life again because I have a nice collection of hammers and I don't give a shit what happens or who watches me make an amazing mess out of shitty ass people who are not pillars of the community...

When I was younger the most repeated thing I heard from adults about your future was the ability to set goals and foresee them. I am now realizing at 26 as I get closer to a goal I set back 4 to 6 years ago just how true and important that is. Goals can seem challenging, and depending on how difficult, just downright impossible. Sure know your limits but humans in nature are problem solvers and task doers. If a goal you truly want seems impossible, divide it. Make smaller more realistically achievable goals with the structure that eventually you will reach the main goal. If you are wise, which you are, and your will is strong, which it is, there is nothing you can not do (realistically). Never underestimate the power of setting goals.
@nak3dxsnake
@nak3dxsnake 26 күн бұрын
Yes doing anything towards a goal is great, and little steps are required. Just remember that if you make time for things you like to do or know more about it the goals will set themselves. Too often we just don't pursue the things we always wanted to do, because we think we have to earn the freedom to pursue them. Make the pursuit of them how you attain them. Stick to what you know, and learn as many things as you can as often as you can even if its just so you don't have to wait on someone else to do something.

Dear Zoë Winters, Your ability to explain complex ideas is truly exceptional; your presentations are clear and easy to understand. I am very grateful for your videos. Honestly, I didn’t have high expectations at first, but within minutes, I was completely drawn in. Jung is a psychologist I deeply admire, and his work holds a significant place in my heart. I’ve spent a lot of time studying his theories, and your video does an excellent job of succinctly explaining the core concepts. The journal prompts you included at the end offer a great way to practically apply and reflect on these ideas. I’ve already saved them and plan to use them regularly to further explore and integrate my shadow. Thank you once again for your wonderful work!

10:26 damn. Thats so eye opening. I get angry for being not understood. For being triggered. For being insulted etc. These things cause a reaction out of me wich stems from the fact that it had an effect on me. Devolping my anger could look like self love, walking away from the situation, journaling to heal MYSELF bc it stirred a trigger in me, so now i can work on that trigger.

Yes!! I’m so happy to hear this! Anger I’ve come to look at as one the most valuable & protective emotions- it serves only you and your values and will show up to protect what’s important to you even when others try to make you feel like it’s not.. but just like you said, it often shows up alongside with other (important!) things and really becomes beneficial once developed because then it’s like a friend looking out for you, you can always trust it🤍

Its like they are the abandoned children who are so angry and bitter at the world. Loving them and accepting them, shines light and the desired attention on them. Emotions and feelings are so intressting. They affect so much. Our beliefs,our life, etc. Is dependent on them. They make or break a person.

The shadow is something that we are imbued with at birth. It only grows from there, to whatever degree we are traumatized in life. Its origins is the unresolved traumas within our parents before they had us, passed down energetically to us. They got it from their parents, and their parents before them and so on and so forth. I've heard people say you can go back as far as 14 generations, however I do not actually know how accurate that number is. Our shadow is comprised of a lot of generational trauma and wounding that has gone unresolved through our lineages...and some of us are lucky or unlucky enough (depending on how you look at it) to wake up to this (sometimes very rudely) and begin the arduous task of doing the inner work that all of our forefathers and foremothers did not do. When you have a child before you've healed all of your inner wounding and traumas... That energy will invariably be passed to your children, which means they're gonna have to deal with it. Both father and mother and then the two of them combine their energies to create us. If neither one of them ever did the work before they created children, It gets passed onto their offspring. That is how it works. Somebody could have an amazing childhood and still have a very dark shadow because of generational trauma energetically passed down. When you add our lived and experienced traumas that get suppressed to the mix, the Shadow gets even darker and borders evil.

This is incredibly interesting & insightful, I really appreciate you taking the time to share all this! While I’ve heard of generational trauma, I know nothing about it and would love to learn more~ I’m curious, if you can’t refer to your lived experiences, how do you go about generational shadow work? Is this still a part of the personal unconscious?
@TheRebelliousMeatPuppet
@TheRebelliousMeatPuppet 5 ай бұрын
@@itszoewinter Shadow work is shadow work. Your shadow is your shadow even though a lot of what comprises your shadow.Isn't your own baggage per se. I don't know that there's actually a distinction made for what you referred to as generational shadow work... I think it's all just shadow work. I'm wise in some of these things but i'm not necessarily what anyone would call an expert, so you might want to do a bit of your own research on that to flesh it out yourself...that way you'll know, and it won't just be some theory.

@@itszoewinter hereditary traits reveal themselves through your life experiences. Some can be recessive, and have nothing to do with anyone still alive. Sometimes you will experience projection from a parent, or someone older in a family, by them saying things like "you are just like your grandma", and it is someone you have never met. Then you know what to target, and why. Most of which may not even be true. It's all part of the program.

I kind of wonder if this is why I've had a difficult life.... both my parents grew up in troubled times... my dad in the war, he grew up in famine riddled Ukraine in the 30s, ended up in the war.. my mum in 40s Poland... my grandfather's both 1st World wars. My dad had me very late in life, so I'm 50, most of my friends parents hadn't had such a direct connection. Both had their faults and my socialisation was pretty weak, but gave me love and never treated me unfairly. But my life absolutely collapsed a few times inspite of this. I beleive even though they tried to give me the best upbringing they could, I picked up their war trauma. Maybe people less sensitive wouldn't have, who knows... interesting you should mention this, as I've often wondered.

What I'm learning through doing a lot of various creative work (one of my favorites is doing strange voices) is that there are a lot of positive traits hidden behind the darker parts of ourselves. So what may come up out of the pipes first is going to be the more dark characters, and then beneath that are the more vulnerable and soft characters that live inside of us that we guard very closely.
@itszoewinter

Oh I love this! I know Jung wrote a lot about active imagination as a channel for unconscious elements.. The strange voices is such a great idea, and something I might just try out haha😄 I've recently started a journal to draw without intention, one page every day, and it's been quite interesting to see what comes up (both the drawings & the emotions with it!) Also, I'd be curious to know, when doing the voices do you notice any archetypal figures show up in them?
@RitamBuchwald
@RitamBuchwald Ай бұрын
@@itszoewinter Definitely, so far I've found my self doing this sage archetype that talks in a very manly stoic type of voice, then there is the very deranged dark almost demonic type of character. For fun I was talking to a friend of mine in that voice at Walmart, and a lady was about to come around the corner and she immediately went back in the direction she came from, it made me laugh. Behind those two I've found this new voice, it is this Latin ultimate romantic archetype, very fun to see what comes out his mouth. There are many more than this too, if you want to see some of my characters I've been making youtube videos, acting them out. I'm also reading my active imagination stories on there too.

Look at yourself from the perspective of observer, like you are watching a movie from first person view and also being able to feel all the emotions. And also look at yourslef as being that went through all that stuff just like you are an actor, in other words look at yourself from the side like you are observing yourself without judgment, about all your emotions and thoughts. Then ask yourself what next steps should benefit this being that you are observing? When i started doing this meditations, little by little great insights started coming into my mind and smoothly i was able to transition myself into desired personality.

I'm glad I found your channel, everything is laid out with clarity. I had been thinking recently about how vilified 'negative' traits become and it doesn't make sense because they likely drove all the people we idolise and gave us things we didn't know we needed. Without them I think we'd lose nearly all of the people who contributed the most to various fields. For myself, it has been hard to acknowledge a confusing mixture of beliefs. This nagging feeling that there is something possibly exceptional about me (I shudder even saying it), flanked by the knowledge that I am average and in many ways deficient. So most of my adult life I have been suppressing this strange and unearned confidence, because narcissism is verboten. I went the opposite way in adulthood, shy, fearful, paranoid which was basically a personality transplant. It feels like the complicated relationship between rationality and mysticism / spirituality. I remember the comfort that came with believing in some form of being above us in a hierarchy, before we walked by a series of reasonable steps into a sterile space of materialism. It's a strange back and forth but like this shadow stuff, I'm getting the sense that a lot has been left on the table.

And when I realize that they are not consistently making sense they then become back ground noise and when i snap back into reality- I GET REALLY ANNOYED AND NEVER AGAIN DO I CLICK ON THAT CHANNEL! They just prove that they too lack complete understanding and knowledge in what they are trying to teach here... lol that is just insane to me. I kept going down rabbit holes my entire life before I realized everyone is struggling with this and a lot of them think they figured it out and just kept living. Those of us who take longer should take some solace in knowing we worked the hardest on wanting to understand before we tried to pretend we did. Knowing that is half the battle. The rest is learning how to be on the opposite side of your shadow with everything it taught you and still not panic or think like the person who didn't know anything. Both have to be accessible while neither should be jockeying for control until needed. Life is so reactionary if we don't fall into the trap of keeping track of too many things instead of focusing on the reality.

Very well explained.. thankyou so much.. i think though that the shadow stuff is not things that are necessarily "bad" like "laziness" etc.. because what to others might seem "bad" (in "laziness" for example) might actually be a deep true need in US.. it is things we have been MADE TO FEEL ARE BAD by others in our lives as we develop, but those things are actually things that are truly part of our true nature but we get made to feel guilty or ashamed of those aspects of us, so we suppress them in our ways of being.. but to heal this we are best to let those aspects of us BE in us and not suppress themz we are best to just be truly usz so we can live our lives truly as us, even if others try to shame us or scold us (but that is really difficult to do, due to the need to feel loved and accepted in society etc) .. am i beginning to figure out the true needs/difficulties? (the capital letters were for emphasis not shouting by the way! :) ..i hope life will be Really good for you

This was exceptional. I know this are not your ideas , but you explained it beautifully clear and very convincing. This video was more important for me than you could realize, it had the effect like a flash that gave my an idea of my whole self for the first time after a whole year of therapy. I supressed so much because with my parents Love was very conditional. They never loved me for what I was but for their own idea what I should be and I internalized that much more than I realized.

does analysis solve the problem of fragmentation, which is really what you are describing here? Can one fragment, the "me" look at the other fragments and integrate them, when the "me" itself is or may be a fragment? That is what each of us must decide or not - is the "me" just another fragment, trying to analyse the other fragments. The other fragments are episodes, memories that the brain has recorded due to some perceived importance to the "me". The "me" itself is the sum total of all of these fragments, i.e I may be just a bunch of memories, stored up in the brain. It comes down to whether you believe the "me" is something greater than that - i.e you are saying the ego is more than just memory and has some quality of wholeness that allows it to do this integrative work. That as such is saying that the "me" is in some state of cosmos, is essentially some form of "higher self". But to say that is pure supposition, pure imagination or belief. If, instead, one observes the me to be just another fragment, one sees the impossibility of ever integrating those fragments via the analysis process. Analysis causes further fragmentation, as the analyser separate from his analysis. Think of it this way, if there was real meditation, there would be no meditator, only meditation. But the meditation that is "taught" is a system, a method that says there is a meditator. The factor of division, the ego, the meditator, is again present, and the meditator becomes the meditated and the whole business has no meaning whatsoever, and that is how it is practiced everywhere. Analysis preserves the same division so that the petty little ego can be there at the centre, pulling the levers, giving the illusion of having the power to integrate, when all it is doing is dividing. "Is Analysis the Way For The Mind to Learn About Itself?" - J Krishnamurti. I think you and others here would enjoy to search for that and maybe read it. It is next level imo.
