Had to do gardening at this cemetry whilst on CS. Gorgeous cemetry, seen some lovely headstones there. Met a good bunch of lads, too, some of them with a natural skill for landscaping. Handsworth was my childhood home. Handsworth park on my bike all through the summer. Walking from Handsworth to Newtown cos it was one area. This was in the 70s when racism was rife, but Handsworth held themselves against it. Really sad to see the young people now not really experiencing their childhood in the same way, but without all the beef and the violence that goes with it.
