Great video young lady. I did that Oct. 2019, only I drive out West of Granite Peak; took gravel roads West of 447 (less windy). Bundled up & laid on my back on the windshield of my car. The grandeur of creation was truly awe inspiring. Besides the dark sky with the countless stars/galaxies; saw owls, jack rabbits, little white rodents, etc. But ya GOTTA stop at Bruno's in Gerlach and have the world famous ravioli!

Wow, I liked your video. At 79 I have a real desire to spend time in the desert alone. I have a tiny trailer a one room apartment but self contained. If you wouldn't mind I would love to spend a few days out there with you to explore the area.

A trick I use .. I have 3 small solar lights, one red, one white, one blue ... I put them out in front of my camp .. from a distance it probably looks like cops are dealing with something ... so bad people tend to stay away ;)
