@Cheetah_Chrome2 жыл бұрын
@@vortexusa124 why is it a bad depiction of Jesus? He was a man. He got dirty and stank. He shit and pissed and farted like all us. He enjoyed the company of women. He got angry and committed violent acts. He was the son of God of course, but as much the son of God as you or me. He had doubts. He admits it. He was imperfect. He admits it. That is the triumph of his story: If I, a man, can do this, (give up worldly things for eternal life on faith alone), so can “you”. That was his sacrifice: His life as a man, living to be old, having a wife and children and all worldly things, living a happy worldly life but he gave that up in order to forge a path to heaven for all mankind after him (If you believe in this) I don’t understand some Christians insistence that Jesus was perfect and infallible. Where is the jeopardy and sacrifice in his journey if this is the case? He was not a superhero. He was not Superman. He didnt have all the answers. He was just a man who had faith but also doubt. Which is okay. He made his choice to sacrifice himself on that faith and fulfill a pact with his Father. On faith alone. He didn’t know for sure. He says it on the cross. He screams it in agony: “Father! why have you forsaken me?” Does that sound like a God who knows everything will be fine? He could have turned his back on the entire thing at anytime. And was tempted to do just that. But he didn’t. The idea of THAT Jesus is the one that inspires me. Not the perfect sanitized Marvel superhero that some “Christians” depict him as.

"And all the while it makes you believe that you and he are one and the same and that..that...that's...well that can be quite confusing." It is actually an insightful quote: whatever you define God as and whyever you do so, being able to tell the precise difference between what is, and what isn't...can be very unclear. On the one hand you've got Satan who defines God by the power he has over what factually is, and he likes to believe that it's possible for one to be as powerful as him, or like him, or even somehow control him thus indirectly being him. The "confusion" can make people arrogant. And on the other hand you've got Jesus who views God as an idea of love which influences people's souls and therefore has some degree of control over their decisions, more so than a person with free will, and he thinks that by showing off how spiritually strong his love makes him, he is being the same as God. But the trouble is that him showing off doesn't automatically put the idea of love into other's souls if they refuse to care/believe/pay attention. He doesn't understand that morality isn't a means of controlling people, it is a faith. And faiths sadly can be wrong. And he is a preacher of the faith, not the actual faith, he is not infallible, he is dependent on other's faith in him as well. The "confusion" can also make people arrogant, albeit in a different way than Satan's. So yeah, "God", isn't about right or wrong, it's about what is believed in, and what isn't believed in. Here Satan is trying to get Jesus to believe in selfishness, and there Jesus is, trying to find some way of holding onto hope in order to make his feelings of selflessness be positive ones.

Jesus in the film is on the quest, looking for his Father. Knows the Father but kinda not and this is so powerful. He has no doubts about God being his Father and yet, Jesus is unable to communicate with Him. He asks Satan about God's presence as if he doesn't feel it in himself. He asks Satan because it appears that Satan know Father somehow better. In the film Jesus knows of the Father, he knows what Father wants him to do, but he doesn't know the Father. He is fully convinced God loves him deeply and cares for him, but at the same time there is this silence and feeling of loneliness somewhere underneath Why would he need to go to the desert to fast, pray and meditate if he knew everything? What would be the point of these forty days if he had known everything right from the start.

It is an intresting question. And the aswer is different if you will seek it in the three great abrahamic religions. In Judaism Satan or if you will take an entity with a similar role is Samael. Who actually is not evil he just have a purpose that in our eyes it may seem so. He has the duty to tempt and accuse and if it is God's will even to destroy. But he is subservient to God not a rebel. In Islam they have a very different version of both judaism and christianism Satan is not an Angel but a Djinn creatures made by God from fire without smoke who refused to bow to men when God made them. The interesting part is that Satan and all Djinn can be saved and forgived if they repent of their sins. The Christian version well we all know Satan is casted into a lake of fire to burn for all eternity. In my personal view God would not make the mistake of creating a rebel Angel. Actually he would not make a mistake at all. He would not create Satan knowing what he would become unless God wanted that way. The figure of Satan is very complex I myself a schollar of occult and other stuff strugle a lot to understand his figure or his role. I changed my mind a lot of times about him and every time I feel close to a conclusion something always pushes me back. Maybe it is not for me to know. But If we consider that Satan is evil I am quite sure that he would not accept peace with God even if God would be the one to offer it.

God All Mighty so Christianity is all just perpetuated bullshit? I can understand the Catholic religion being a scam considering their history with Martin Luther and even their current mysticism about people claiming that the Vatican is withholding vital information in regards to the truth of reality itself. It isn't hard to believe that certain groups distribute misinformation so that the true power can be held in their hands. While the common people place their idealisms and hope on false promises. Even in the Christian bible it's stated a king used Djinn to build a temple. I was fascinated by the recent Aladdin movie. Since that has to be inspired from some form of truth. I than began researching into spirits being servants to humans and stumbled across a website with detailed information about every deity in known history. Their preferences, what offerings they prefer, and with people on that site actually claiming they witness these things and have miracles performed . Although they can't perform miracles such as vast wealth like lottery tickets and these people stress the fact that it most likely isn't immediate . This could also explain how some royal houses have these creatures or deities displayed as a sigil. This isn't the first time I've entertained this idea. As I theorized when I was younger if perhaps spirits are just energy, why can't we use it? They can obviously affect the physical world to a degree. With the addition of hearing accounts of people completely separate from this community , encountering dark entities that wish for them to be worshipped and in return they will give whatever they want to the worshipper. I however withdrew myself from the thought of even delving into it since it could just be a trap of satan . Using greed, ego, and desperation to further delude those lost without Jesus. Satan is said to be the father of lies after all . But as time goes on, and the suffering continues, the unfairness of our world. I start to wonder, why does God truly allow this? Why did he allow Satan to live? Just so he could serve a purpose to bring people closer to God? Just for the beauty of choice?? God could easily make a perfect world but he doesn't. And how could it be viewed in any other way than his sick fantasy of watching a simulation play out. In moments of anger and frustration I find myself cursing, saying that God is nothing but a child with powers of absolute authority. Since why would a God get angry? Why would he even have human emotions? It doesn't make any sense. The counter arguement would be of course "he molded us in his image". If that is so, than the only difference between us , the devil, God, Angels, and demons is that they have the power to control reality more precisely than we do. That their understanding of how to control it is far more vibrant . Otherwise, without that , they're just like us. In my personal opinion , there has to be more to this place than simple survival. I can feel it and my intuition has been astutely accurate in my life . For example, primitive tribes who have no idea of the progression of human civilization, dont know the wonders we enjoy. So what is to say that doesn't apply to humans vs whatever else is truly out there. Or maybe this truly is all enigmatic and we only have one life that Is by a remarkable brush of luck . A 525 billion to one chance . However in all those cases, that still doesn't disregard the suffering , but can only make one ignore it.

Ever consider that Jesus IS Lucifer, in your Bible? Lot of evidence to support it. You just named the main one.

The brilliance of Jesus in this scene can’t be overlooked. He was testing Satan while Satan thought he was testing him. “Have you seen his face?” Satan response reveals that he doesn’t know the word as well as Christ and that he is truly arrogant. God clearly has a face. Exodus 33:11 And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. John 14:9 He that hath seen Me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, ‘Show us the Father’? Jesus is making fun of the Devil to his face and he never catches on…

Interesting contrast between the story of Jesus temptation in the wilderness and Ephesians 5v28. "In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church-" and yet we see in the wilderness Jesus starving his body which is sort of self abuse. Also when Jesus said, "Man can not live by bread alone but by the Word of God" it might have been a clever response by Satan to say, "Well how saying the Lord's prayer then, 'Give us this day our daily bread'" The Matthew ch3 story could have been improved by making it that Jesus magically made wheat grow super fast on the desert soil there as a fulfillment of Isaiah 35, "1The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, 2it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon; they will see the glory of the Lord, the splendor of our God." But don't forget that the bulk of the wheat plant is made from carbon dioxide out of the air.

There is much to be learned from Christian mythology. The first and most important thing is that Christianity is based on earlier myths from the eastern Mediterranean.

Does the bible 100% confirms Lucifer is Satan? Or is Satan some other guy? Really curious The video seems to be Lucifer the fallen angel just asking questions to his former boss
@spectreshot85365 ай бұрын
Neither are the biblical devil, but Christians tend to be too dumb to understand this and still use Lucifer, Satan and the Devil interchangeably. I was born and raised Catholic until I actually read the book and holy shit do people get pretty much everything wrong, make up a bunch of untrue things (much like the Bible) and ignore inconvenient things, while claiming to follow the best selling piece of fiction.
